The Gramberg Ranch, in Pennington County, South Dakota near Hermosa, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. The listing included eight contributing buildings, six contributing structures, and four contributing sites. [1]

The main house is a two-story, square plan, hipped roof structure started in 1885; it was further developed in years up to 1936. It is a common bond brick building on a brick foundation. [2]

The ranch buildings are grouped into three complexes comprising headquarters, residential and shop complexes. The ranch combined two neighboring homesteads and was first owned by advertising executive Stanley B. Resor and his wife, Helen Lansdowne Resor. The Resors used the property as a vacation home, but the ranch was also a full-time, self-sustaining operation.

The Hunter Hereford Ranch was first homesteaded in 1909 by James Williams in the eastern portion of Jackson Hole, in what would become Grand Teton National Park. By the 1940s it was developed as a hobby ranch by William and Eileen Hunter and their foreman John Anderson. With its rustic log buildings it was used as the shooting location for the movie The Wild Country, while one structure with a stone fireplace was used in the 1963 movie Spencer's Mountain. The ranch is located on the extreme eastern edge of Jackson Hole under Shadow Mountain. It is unusual in having some areas of sagebrush-free pasture.

The Snake River Land Company Residence and Office are structures associated with John D. Rockefeller Jr.'s acquisition of land in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, United States. Under the guise of the Snake River Land Company, Rockefeller bought much of the land that he eventually donated to the National Park Service, first as Jackson Hole National Monument and a year later as Grand Teton National Park. The buildings are located in the park, in the community of Moran. They served as the residence and office for SRLC vice president Harold Fabian and foreman J. Allan from 1930 to 1945. The buildings are still used by the National Park Service. The property was owned from 1926 to 1930 by John Hogan, a retired politician from the eastern United States. The Snake River Land Company bought the property in 1930.

The Faraway Ranch Historic District is part of the Chiricahua National Monument in southeastern Arizona, and preserves an area associated with the final conflicts with the local Apache, one of the last frontier settlements, and in particular, its association with the people who promoted the establishment of the Chiricahua National Monument. Faraway Ranch is located in Bonita Canyon, which lies at an approximate altitude of 5160 feet and opens in a southwesterly direction into the Sulphur Springs Valley.

The Faeth Farmstead and Orchard District is a nationally recognized historic district located near Fort Madison, Iowa, United States. At the time of its nomination it contained 27 resources, which included 15 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, three contributing structures, and six non-contributing buildings. The contributing buildings include the farm house, the main barn (1882), a stable, a privy, engine house, smokehouse, chicken house, and hog house all from the early 1900s, a shop/crib, a second barn (1925), an apple packing shed, an apple cold storage shed or cooler with loading dock, a truck shed, a garage (1950s) and a machine shed. The contributing structures include a pond that was used for spraying apples, a spray tank/house (1946), and an old section of road. The contributing sites are the three historic orchards. The East Orchard was established before 1874 and it still has remnant older trees. The Old North Orchard was established around the turn of the 20th century, but the trees were primarily planted in the 1970s and the 1980s. The North Orchard was established in 1940-1941 and includes some remnant older trees and replacement trees from the 1970s to the 1990s. The non-contributing buildings are more recently built, or moved here in recent years.

Martin Farm Complex is a historic home and farm complex located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. The complex consists of a gentleman farmer's Italian villa farmhouse along with a full complement of contributing agricultural outbuildings. In addition to the farmhouse, there are eleven contributing buildings, two structures, one site, and four objects dating from the mid-19th century to the 1930s. They include a brick office building, milk house, sheds, privy, carriage barn, chicken house, four barns, a pergola, smoke house, cast iron fence, stepping stone, and two hitching posts.

Sheldon–Owens Farm is a national historic district located at Willsboro in Essex County, New York. The district contains seven contributing buildings, one contributing site, and seven contributing structures. They are set on a property assembled between 1784 and 1945. The oldest structure is a barn dated to the late 18th century. A number of the outbuildings date to the 1830s and include barns, a granary, brick smokehouse, and sugar house. The farmhouse dates to 1853 and was constructed on the foundation of the 18th-century house. Dated to the early 20th century are a storage shed, machine shed, well house, and additions and renovations to older buildings. The property has been adapted for use as a bird sanctuary.

"Maplewood", also known as Sebrell-McCausland Farm, is a historic home and national historic district located near Pliny, Mason County, West Virginia. The district includes eight contributing buildings and four contributing sites. The main house is a two-story Italianate-style brick farmhouse with wood siding. It features two round attic portholes and three porches. Also on the property are the following contributing buildings / sites: a coal house, chicken house, blacksmith shop, and well house all built about 1870; the Jenny Lind House ; a schoolhouse / storage shed ; machine shed ; the ruins of the main barn and hog barn ; and the Sebrell-McCausland Cemetery and Slave Cemetery, both established about 1850.

McClung Farm Historic District is a historic home and national historic district located at McDowell, Highland County, Virginia. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and three contributing structures. The main house was built in 1844, and is a two-story, five-bay, brick dwelling with a single-pile, central-passage plan and an original two-story rear addition in a vernacular Federal style. It has a three-bay-wide front porch. The contributing buildings and structures besides the house include: a large barn, a small barn, a cattle ramp, an outhouse, a corncrib, a smokehouse, a shed, and the Clover Creek Presbyterian Church and its outhouse. The contributing sites are a wood shed foundation, the ruins of the McClung Mill, and the Clover Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery.

The Walter Cliff Ranch District, at 7635 Old HW 395 in Washoe Valley, Nevada is a historic site that was listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It has significance dating from c.1870, when the house was built. The listing included two contributing buildings: the house and a root cellar/residence building.

Oaklyn Plantation is a historic plantation and national historic district located near Darlington, Darlington County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 40 contributing buildings, 6 contributing sites, 2 contributing structures, and contributing object. Founded as a forced-labor farm worked by black people enslaved by the land's white owners, it was one of the major plantation establishments of the county and served as the seat of the Williamson family for more than 200 years.

Christian and Katharina Herschler House, Barn, and Outbuildings Historic District are historic buildings located in Franklin, Iowa, United States. The historic district, now known as the Christian Herschler Winery, is located on the edge of town. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. At the time of its nomination it included three contributing buildings: the house (1865), barn (1865) and a shed/summer kitchen. It also includes two noncontributing buildings: a two-room brick structure and a cement foundation. The Herschlers raised their own grapes and operated the town's only winery.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. At the time of its nomination it contained 19 resources, which included nine contributing buildings, one contributing site, four contributing structures, and two non-contributing structures.

The Flying Horseshoe Ranch was established in the Centennial Valley of southeastern Wyoming by Danish immigrant Mads Wolbol in the late 1870s. The complex of mostly log structures, about 15 of which are considered contributing structures.

Eagar Townsite Historic District is a section of the town of Eagar, Arizona which has been designated a National Historic Place. Sitting on roughly 54 acres, the site contains 37 structures, 21 of which have historical significance. The period of significance is from 1886, the year the townsite was founded, through 1942, which represents the significant period of development of the town. The site was added to the Register on July 23, 1993.

The Hardin County Home Historic District, also known as Hardin County Poor Farm, Hardin County Farm, and the Hardin County Care Facility, is a nationally recognized historic district located northwest of Eldora, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. At the time of its nomination the district consisted of six resources, including three contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two non-contributing buildings. Beginning in the mid-19th century county homes were established across the state to take care of less fortunate residents. That care then extended to the end of the 20th century. The Hardin County Home operated at this location from 1877 to 1996. The historic district encompasses the buildings, farm fields, and cemetery associated with the home. The first burial in the cemetery, located on the southwest corner of the property, was in 1877. The graves are marked with simple stone markers. The last burial was in 2008. Farm fields surround the buildings and extend to the north.

Stewart Ranch, also known as Stewart-Hewlett Ranch, near Woodland, Utah in Wasatch and Summit counties, includes eight buildings which were separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The former ranch is located off Utah State Route 35. Some or all of the ranch is included in what is now the Diamond Bar X Ranch.
