History

The school was established in 2008. GVS Greater Noida is divided into three wings: junior, middle and senior school. It has 1000 students (approx.) and 100 faculty members.

Academics

The school follows curriculum designed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Subjects taught are English, Hindi, math, EVS,[ clarification needed ] science, social science, Sanskrit, French and German as third language, physics, chemistry, mathematics, physical education, economics, psychology, accounts, business studies, information practices, political science, history, geography.

Greater Noida Press Club is a social organization of journalists from Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi NCR. It works for journalists' professional, social and economic development. The aim of the organization is to develop high standards in journalism and protect the rights of journalists. Greater Noida Press Club was established on 24 July 2003 by three journalists, Adesh Bhati, Satyavir Nagar and Dharmendra Chandel.The idea of establishing a press club in Greater Noida was after seeing the organizations and associations of journalists In cities like Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur.

Shivam Thakur Indian pistol shooter

Shivam Thakur is an Indian pistol shooter. Originally from Bihar, Shivam hails from Kulehsra, Uttar Pradesh.Shivam passed his 12th and was previously engaged in cricket and was a part of the Kerala Junior state team. However, because of an injury, Shivam had to leave cricket and he started practicing shooting. Sports minister Kiran Rijiju congratulated Thakur on his win. 'Students Ratna' and 'Khel Gaurav' awards were also announced for Thakur. He is also the founder of School Games and Activity Development Foundation.
