Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by the American rock band Train, released on November 9, 2018, through Columbia Records. [1] It includes a cover of Wham!'s "Careless Whisper" featuring saxophonist Kenny G, [1] as well as the single "Call Me Sir" and tracks from all their studio albums. [2]
Frontman Pat Monahan stated that he avoided putting out a greatest hits album because he "always thought of those records as a way of saying, 'Welp, it was fun while it lasted' and that stressed me out." Monahan said he later came around to the idea of compiling the band's hits as "We live in a new music world now and having people be able to find songs they love faster and easier seems like a great idea." Bananarama are an English pop group formed in London in 1980. The group, originally a trio, consisted of friends Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey, and Keren Woodward. Fahey left the group in 1988 and was replaced by Jacquie O'Sullivan until 1991, when the trio became a duo. Their success on both pop and dance charts saw them listed in the Guinness World Records for achieving the world's highest number of chart entries by an all-female group. Between 1982 and 2009, they had 32 singles reach the Top 50 of the UK Singles Chart.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the British rock band Queen, released worldwide on 26 October 1981. The album consisted of Queen's biggest hits since their first chart appearance in 1974 with "Seven Seas of Rhye", up to their 1980 hit "Flash". It was released on 11 October 1982 in the United States and 18 October in the United Kingdom and marked the 20th anniversary of The Beatles' first record release, "Love Me Do", in the UK in October 1962. 20 Greatest Hits was the last Beatles album to be released with variations between the U.S. and UK versions. There is an extremely rare 8 track tape version of this album, of which approximately 10 to 15 copies still exist today. Capitol Records decided not to release the album in the format, as 8 tracks were not selling well in late 1982. However, in early 1983, they made a few copies available through Capitol Special Markets.
