The Green October Event 2015 marked the inaugural edition of the Green October Event, held on October 1, 2015, at Peninsula Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
Tarmar Awobotu and Emmanuel Ikubese took on the role of hosts for the inaugural edition of the event, which was primarily centered around raising awareness for children living with Down syndrome in Nigeria. [1] [2] [3]
The event featured prominent fashion designers including O'Saunders, Agatha Moreno, Cal Ogbah Clothing, Sassy Fashion House, Fabulousadivastiche, Neri Couture, S2 Dynamics, Adunni-Oge Couture, and VickyHeldan, who showcased their designs during the event. [1] [3]

The Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) is an annual film festival that takes place in Nigeria. It was founded in 2010 with its Inaugural edition in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. AFRIFF was founded by Chioma Ude a passionate film buff and entrepreneur, The event normally spans through a week and it includes award shows and film training classes. Keith Shiri, the founder/director of Africa at the Pictures is the artistic director of the festival. AFRIFF gives out honors in categories such Feature, Documentary, Short, Animation, and Students Short, as well as awards and prizes for Directing, Acting, and Screenplay. There are additional special awards for Audience Choice and an Outstanding Film Jury Award.
Lagos Fashion Week (LagosFW) is an annual multi-day clothing trade show that takes place in Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded in 2011 by Omoyemi Akerele and it is Africa’s largest fashion event drawing considerable media attention, nationally and internationally. It showcases over 60 Nigerian and African fashion designers to a global audience of more than 40.000 retailers, media and consumers. It has helped propel African designers and fashion brands, such as Orange Culture, Lisa Folawiyo and Christie Brown to international recognition.

Miss Grand Nigeria was a Nigerian female beauty pageant founded in 2015 by a Lagos-based event organizer chaired by Loveth Ajufoh, QLA Nigeria. The winners of the contest, which was held individually twice, represented Nigeria at its parent competition, Miss Grand International. Previously, the contest's license belonged to AMC Productions, the organizer of the Miss Earth Nigeria pageant, before being transferred to QLA Nigeria Limited, 001 Entertainment – the organizer of The Nigerian Queen, and the Qhue Group. in 2015, 2020, and 2023, respectively.
Miss Grand Nigeria 2015 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Nigeria beauty pageant, held on September 11, 2015, at Orchid Hotels & Events Centre in Lekki, Lagos. Candidates from fifteen states of Nigeria competed for the title and the representative of Plateau State, Ifeoma Jennifer Ohia, was named the winner and received one million Nigerian naira cash prize as a reward. She then represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2015 in Thailand, but she was unplaced.
