Green October Event 2016 was the second edition of Green October Event held on 1 October 2016 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
Layole Oyatogun and Zoe Chinaka hosted the second edition of the event, while Tomi Odunsi, Swazzi, SoulPrinz, Ozzybosco and Ejen performed at the event. It was focused on children living with autism in Nigeria. [1] [2] [3]

Ariyike Lawal-Akinbobola, professionally known as Ariyike Akinbobola, is a Nigerian television presenter, talk show host, model, blogger, trained lawyer and occasional actress. Since 2011, she has worked as an associate producer and TV presenter for Spice TV a fashion and lifestyle channel on the DSTV platform. She hosts Spice TV's flagship programme 'On the Couch' and in addition she has produced and presented the fashion news and has as well presented other TV Shows including Sugar and Spice, Urban Spice, Instant Beauty Queen and Project Swan. Lagos Fashion Week (LagosFW) is an annual multi-day clothing trade show that takes place in Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded in 2011 by Omoyemi Akerele and it is Africa’s largest fashion event drawing considerable media attention, nationally and internationally. It showcases over 60 Nigerian and African fashion designers to a global audience of more than 40.000 retailers, media and consumers. Vogue calls him "a major force in the creative scene in Nigeria."
Lanre da Silva is a Nigerian fashion designer based in Lagos. Launched in 2005, her eponymous label includes couture, ready-to-wear, jewelry and hairpieces. Da Silva's collections often incorporate metallic fabrics, lace and African patterns, while referencing the 1940s or 1800s. The Africa Fashion Guide recognizes her as having "... created a name for herself in high fashion in Nigeria."
Omotunde Adebowale David, popularly known as Lolo1, is a Nollywood actress, and a Nigerian radio presenter. She hosted the radio programme, ‘Oga Madam’ on Wazobia FM 95.1, till 2019 when she left and joined Lasgidi FM as the general manager and an on-air personality.
