Greenville Senior High School (also known as Greenville Senior High Academy, GHS, GSHS, Greenville Senior High Academy of Law, Finance, and Business, and Greenville High Academy) is a medium-sized secondary school and magnet school located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Greenville has a rivalry with J.L. Mann High School. During "spirit week", a week-long charity event typically held in September, Greenville and J.L. Mann compete to raise more money than each other through extracurricular school events and traditions. At the end of spirit week, a football game between the two schools is held, during which the amount of money both schools raised is revealed at the half. [3]
Greenville has many clubs that students are able to join, including spirit club, book club, film club, theatre team, foreign language clubs (Spanish, French, Latin), step team, and many more.
Greenville holds a fall homecoming dance, in addition to a homecoming football game, and a spring promenade dance. During homecoming week, there are several dress-up days for students to participate in.
Greenville's theatre department presents bi-annual productions: a play in the fall and a musical in the spring. Any student who attends the school is able to audition for a role in these productions and apply for backstage positions.

Carroll Ashmore Campbell Jr., was an American Republican politician who served as the 112th governor of South Carolina from 1987 to 1995. Prior to this, he served as a member of the South Carolina Senate representing the 2nd district from 1977 to 1978 and as a congressman representing South Carolina's 4th district from 1979 to 1987.

J. L. Mann High School is one of fourteen high schools in the Greenville County School District, South Carolina, United States. It is named after James Lewis Mann (1872–1943), former superintendent of Greenville County Schools. J.L. Mann is also a magnet school for math, science, and technology, allowing students to receive honorary distinction in one of the three areas when they graduate.
T. L. Hanna High School is located at 2600 Highway 81 North, outside the city limits of Anderson, South Carolina, United States. It is one of two high schools in Anderson School District Five and has a population of nearly 2,100 students. Sandi Morris is an American pole vault record holder. She won the silver medal in the pole vault event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She also won silver at the pole vault event at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics and another silver at the 2019 World Championships in Athletics. In 2018 she won gold at the World Indoor Championships. Morris has a personal best vault of 4.95 m indoor, set on March 12, 2016, in Portland, Oregon. She matched this height at the 2018 World Indoor Champships when setting a new championship record. July 23, 2016, Morris cleared 4.93 m at American Track League in Houston at Rice University breaking Jennifer Suhr's American outdoor record in the pole vault. Morris cleared 5.00 m at 2016 IAAF Diamond League Memorial Van Damme in Brussels on September 9, 2016, to set the U.S. women's outdoor pole vault record.
