Greg Wolfgramm is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who represented Tonga at the 2000 World Cup. He is the cousin of fellow Tongan international Willie.

Playing career

Wolfgramm attended St Paul's College where he played in the halves alongside Stacey Jones. [2]

He played for the Richmond Bulldogs in the 1995 Auckland Rugby League competition. [3]

A former Marist Saints player, Wolfgramm played for the Narrandera Lizards in Group 20 Rugby League in which he won a premiership with the Lizards in 1999. [4]

Wolfgramm joined the Canberra Raiders in 2000 and spent three seasons at the club.

Representative career

Wolfgramm played for Tonga in the 1999 test match against New Zealand. He was then part of the squad for the 2000 World Cup.

The Tonga national rugby union team represents Tonga in men's international rugby union it's nicknamed ʻIkale Tahi . Awen Guttenbeil

Awen Guttenbeil is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. Since retiring after a playing career spanning fifteen years, he went on to work as a broadcaster for Sky Network Television and as a presenter on Maori TV sports show, Hyundai Code. In 2010 he coached his schoolboy club Point Chevalier Pirates in the Auckland Rugby League's Phelan Shield alongside former team mate and childhood friend Stacey Jones. He represented both the Tongan and New Zealand national sides in his long career and played in two World Cups. His position of preference was in the Second-Row. He was an integral part of the 2002 New Zealand Warriors squad, noted for being the first team in the club's history to make the NRL Grand Final. He now owns and operates several construction businesses in New Zealand including Passive Fire NZ.

Sinali Latu is a retired Tongan-Japanese rugby union player. He played in Japan for Sanyo and also played for the Japan national rugby union team. Now he coaches the Daito Bunka University rugby team.

Duane Darrin Mann is a New Zealand former rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s, and coached in the 2000s. A Tonga and New Zealand international representative hooker, he captained both sides. Mann played his club football for New Zealand sides Glenora, North Harbour, Auckland Warriors and Counties Manukau, as well as for English club, Warrington.

Rugby union is the national sport in Tonga. Sumo has a following, while football, judo, surfing, volleyball, and cricket have gained popularity in recent years. Rugby league and Australian football are also played.
