Narrandera, until around 1949 also spelled "Narandera", is a town located in the Riverina region of south-western New South Wales, Australia. The town lies on the junction of the Newell and Sturt highways, adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River, and it is considered the gateway to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. At the 2016 census, Narrandera had a population of 3746 people.

Yanco is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Leeton along Irrigation Way. Yanco is home to the Powerhouse Museum, McCaughey Park, Murrumbidgee Rural Studies Centre and Yanco Agricultural High School. Murrumbidgee Irrigation builds the Roach’s Surge Reservoir near Yanco, holding up to 5 million tonnes of water.
Leeton railway station is a heritage-listed former goods yard and railway station and now bus station and railway station located on the Yanco–Griffith line at Dunn Avenue in Leeton in the Leeton Shire local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It is also known as Leeton Railway Station and yard group. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
Irrigation Way is a major rural road that runs approximately 85 kilometres (53 mi) through the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area in south western New South Wales, Australia.
Wamoon is a village in Leeton Shire in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. Wamoon is located 8.8 kilometres (5.5 mi) from Leeton along the Irrigation Way to the Leeton CBD and Henry Lawson Drive to the Leeton suburb of Wattle Hill. Wamoon provides a village of homes to the farmers of northern Leeton and there is a small primary school known as Wamoon Public School.
The Riverina Football Netball League (RFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball competition containing nine clubs based in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The league features three grades in the Australian rules football competition, with these being First-Grade, Reserve-Grade and Under 17s. In the netball competition, there are five grades, with these being A-Grade, A Reserve-Grade, B-Grade, C-Grade and Under 17s. Governed by AFL Riverina, the league is the only major country league in New South Wales, and was formerly a VFL recruiting zone for South Melbourne from 1968 to 1986.
Group 17 is a rugby league competition based in the Riverina and Central West regions of New South Wales, Australia. The competition collapsed in 2006 and reformed in 2018 as the Western Riverina Community Cup with six teams. It is currently sponsored by a chicken farm company called Proten which has been sponsoring the whole competition since 2018.
The Hay Magpies is a rugby league football club based in the town of Hay, in the western Riverina of New South Wales, Australia. Since 2007 the club has competed in Group 20 in South Western NSW, which is governed by the NSW Rugby League Prior to this the club had competed in Group 17. The Hay Magpies were the most successful team in the history of Group 17, winning 12 premierships. The team colours are black and white and the club is named after the ubiquitous Australian magpie.
Yenda is a town in the Riverina district of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) east of Griffith, 65 kilometres (40 mi) north-west of Narrandera, and 550 kilometres (340 mi) west of Sydney in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area of southern New South Wales. Although most of the original 15-acre farms have been consolidated into large vineyards and most farmhouses have disappeared, farm roads are named after the original settlers. In 1940 Yenda had two clothing stores, two bakers, two butchers, two grocery stores, two barbers, one newsagency, one pharmacy, one cinema, one Greek restaurant and one bank but residents now do their shopping in nearby Griffith. At the 2011 census, Yenda had a population of 1,503.
Binya is a farming community in the centre of the Riverina area of New South Wales, Australia. The village is situated about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Griffith along Burley Griffin Way, heading in the direction of Ardlethan.

The Yanco-Wamoon Hawks are a rugby league club based in the town of Yanco, New South Wales, Australia. Founded in 1970, the Hawks compete in the Group 20 Rugby League competition, where they have won eight First Grade premierships, including five in a row from 1992 to 1996.
