Nuko Hifo is a Tongan rugby league footballer who represented Tonga national rugby league team at the 2000 World Cup.

Early years

Hifo attended St. Paul's College in New Zealand.

Playing career

Hifo represented Tonga in the 2000 World Cup. At the time he was playing for Griffith in the Group 20 competition. [1]

In 2008 Hifo was part of the Australian squad in the 2008 Student World Cup. [2] [3] Earlier that year he had played for the Queensland University side. [4] Hifo attended Bond University. That year he also played for the Burleigh Bears in the FOGS Cup. [5]

In 2009 he played for the Southern Kookaburras in the Queensland Rugby League's 'A' Grade State Carnival. [6]

An Australia international and Queensland State of Origin representative centre, he previously played for the Parramatta Eels, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, with whom he won the 2004 NRL Premiership, and the North Queensland Cowboys. He joined French club the Catalans Dragons in 2015 and signed a contract with the Centurions for 2016.

Kefu is currently the head coach of the Tongan national team having previously coached them as a caretaker in 2012. He is also the Assistant Coach of the First 15 at Iona College. He is additionally the head coach of the Australian side Queensland Country in the National Rugby Championship, while there is a break between international windows.

Petero Civoniceva former Australia & Fiji international rugby league footballer

Petero Civoniceva, is an Fijian-Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative prop forward, in 2009 he broke the record for most international matches for Australia of any forward in history. Civoniceva played his club football for the Brisbane Broncos, with whom he won the 1998, 2000 and 2006 NRL Premierships, as well as for the Penrith Panthers, whom he captained.
