George Truitt was an American politician from Murderkill Hundred, in Kent County, Delaware, near Felton. He was a member of the Federalist Party, who served in the Delaware General Assembly and as Governor of Delaware.
Barratt's Chapel is a chapel located to the north of Frederica in Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1780 on land donated by Philip Barratt, owner of Barratt Hall, and a prominent local landowner and political figure. Barratt, who had recently become a Methodist, wanted to build a center for the growing Methodist movement in Delaware.

The interior was renovated in 1905. Adjacent to the church is the cemetery, containing only one or two gravestones.

Saxton United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church located at the junction of Main and Church Streets in Bowers, Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1879, and is a long, narrow, one-story, gable-roofed, Gothic-influenced frame building with board-and-batten siding. It measures approximately 40 feet, 5 inches, in length by 24 feet, 5 inches, in width. The steeply pitched roof is topped by a pyramidal-roofed, bell cupola. The church was moved to its present location in 1893.
Star Hill AME Church, also known as Star of the East Church, is a historic African Methodist Episcopal (AME) church building and cemetery located in Dover, Delaware near Camden, Kent County, Delaware. It was constructed about 1866, and is a one-story, three-bay by three-bay, gable roofed, frame building in a vernacular Gothic Revival-style. It features a small bell tower at the roof ridge. Interments in the adjacent cemetery are believed to begin with the founding of the church in the 1860s, but the earliest marked grave dates from the early 1890s.

It was originally built in 1845 and re-built after a fire in 1889. The one-story, gable roofed frame Classical Revival-style church rests on a brick foundation. It measures 28 feet, 3 inches, wide and 36 feet, 2 inches in length. The ground around the church has been used as a cemetery since the church was established. The church is an important focal point of the community of Star Hill, an early community of African American settlement in Kent County. Zion was the first African Methodist Episcopal church in Camden, and is the mother church of nearby Star Hill AME Church.

It was built in 1858, and is a one-story, rectangular frame building in a vernacular Greek Revival style. It measures 32 feet, 9 inches, wide by 44 feet, 9 inches deep. It has a gable roof and features stained glass windows. The one story Church School Building wing was added to the church in 1966. Located east and north of the church are cemeteries dating to the third quarter of the 19th century, with the earliest marker dated 1861.
Smith's Chapel, also known as Smith Chapel, is a historic chapel located at 29858 Redfield Road in Milton Township, Cass County, Michigan, near Niles. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1979 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The chapel is the oldest known church building in Cass County, and probably the oldest in southwest Michigan.

Barratt Hall, also known as the Philip Barratt House, is a historic home located near Frederica, Kent County, Delaware. It dates to the mid-18th century, and is a two-story, three bay, center-hall plan brick dwelling in the Georgian-style. In 1784, Bishops Thomas Coke and Francis Asbury met in the house with Mrs. Miriam Barratt and eleven preachers. They held council here which ended in sending Freeborn Garrettson to summon preachers to the Christmas Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, at which the Methodist Church in America was organized. It was the home of Philip Barratt, who donated land and, together with Waitman Sipple, erected Barratt's Chapel in 1780.

The Williamsville Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge, carrying Dover Road over the Rock River in Newfane, Vermont. Probably built in the 1870s, this Town lattice truss bridge is probably the oldest covered bridge in Windham County, and is the only one surviving in the town of Newfane. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
Roberts Park Methodist Episcopal Church, whose present-day name is Roberts Park United Methodist Church, was dedicated on August 27, 1876, making it one of the oldest church remaining in downtown Indianapolis. Diedrich A. Bohlen, a German-born architect who immigrated to Indianapolis in the 1850s, designed this early example of Romanesque Revival architecture. The church is considered one of Bohlen's major works. Constructed of Indiana limestone at Delaware and Vermont Streets, it has a rectangular plan and includes a bell tower on the southwest corner. The church is known for its interior woodwork, especially a pair of black-walnut staircases leading to galleries (balconies) surrounding the interior of three sides of its large sanctuary. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1982. It is home to one of several Homeless Jesus statues around the world, this one located behind the church on Alabama Street.
