The Grimsby Red Wings are a British ice hockey club.

The Red Wings were founded in 1932 making them one of the oldest teams still in operation. The team currently competes in the North 2 division of the ENIHL.

The club operates a youth system which provide children from 8 to 18 with a chance to play ice hockey. They operate U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s, U18s and ENL teams, all of which are called the Red Wings.

Sledge Hockey Team

In March 2009 the Red Wings added a Sledge Hockey team to their organisation, becoming the first Ice Hockey club in the UK to do so.

The Triple Gold Club is the group of ice hockey players and coaches who have won an Olympic Games gold medal, a World Championship gold medal, and the Stanley Cup, the championship trophy of the National Hockey League (NHL). The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) considers them to be "the three most important championships available to the sport".

James E. Norris

James E. Norris was a Canadian-American businessman, operating companies in the grain and cattle industries, and owner of the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. He also had significant ownership interests in the Chicago Black Hawks and the New York Rangers. He is often referred to as James Norris Sr., to distinguish him from his son, James D. Norris. Norris is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, as are his sons James and Bruce Norris, but not Margurite his daughter who was Detroit Red Wings co-owner with brother Bruce and President from 1952-55.

Niklas Kronwall

Hans Niklas Kronwall is a Swedish former professional ice hockey defenceman, who currently serves as an advisor to the general manager of the Detroit Red Wings. He previously played for the Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is one of the 28 members in the Triple Gold Club. Kronwall started his career in Järfälla HC in Sweden, and has played internationally for Sweden. In the NHL, Kronwall gained notoriety for being an open ice hitter, and the phrase "being Kronwalled" was coined to describe his signature back-pedaling hits. In 2008 he won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings.
