"Secret Combination" is a song by Greek American singer Kalomira. Described as an American production of "perky pop" and R&B, the track was composed by Poseidonas Giannopoulos with lyrics by Konstantinos Pantzis. It was released on 26 February 2008 by Heaven Music and served as the first single released from Kalomira's fourth studio album, Secret Combination: The Album. The song was as the Greek entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, held in Belgrade, where it placed third behind Russia and Ukraine.
Viktoriya Georgieva, known professionally by the mononym Victoria, is a Bulgarian singer and songwriter. She began her career after participating in season four of X Factor Bulgaria. It was revealed on 25 November 2019 that Georgieva would have represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. Due to the 2020 contest's cancellation, Georgieva represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 instead.
"Mall" is a song composed and written by Albanian singer and songwriter Eugent Bushpepa. It was released as a single on 6 April 2018 by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) and Universal Music. The song has been described as an Albanian language 1980s-inspired classical folk rock ballad. In its love-themed lyrics, it captures the feeling of longing and also reflects both the deep loneliness and the burning desire of a reunion.
Bulgaria originally planned participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Tears Getting Sober" written by Victoria Georgieva, Borislav Milanov, Lukas Oscar Janisch and Cornelia Wiebols, and performed by Victoria. However, the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For promotional purposes, a music video was released simultaneously with the digital premiere of the song and was directed by Bogdan Păun. Filmed at an empty National Theatre Bucharest, the visual shows Roxen and several dancers performing contemporary dance to portray the story of a person who manages to gain control over their surrounding fears.
