Les Cowboys Fringants are a Quebecker folk rock band formed in 1995 in Repentigny, Quebec. The French word fringant can be translated as "dashing", or "frisky".

Dubmatique is a French Canadian hip hop group formed in the 1990s in Montreal, Quebec. Corey Mitchell Hart is a Canadian singer, musician and songwriter known for his hit singles "Sunglasses at Night", "Never Surrender" and "It Ain't Enough". He has sold over 16 million records worldwide and recorded nine US Billboard Top 40 hits. In Canada, 30 of Hart's recordings have been Top 40 hits, including 11 in the Top 10, over the course of over 35 years in the music industry. Nominated for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1984, Hart is an inductee of both Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canada's Walk of Fame, and is also a multiple Juno award nominee and winner, including the Diamond Award for his best-selling album Boy in the Box. He has also been honoured by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).
Passe-Partout was a Canadian French-language children's television program funded by the Quebec ministry of education and produced by Radio-Québec from 1977 to 1992. It was revived in 2019 with a new cast and cancelled once more in August 2024. The show, which also aired on Radio-Canada and TVOntario, had a duration of thirty minutes per episode and included both live actors and puppets, though there was no interaction between the two.
Jorane Pelletier, known professionally as Jorane, is a French-Canadian singer/cellist, who performs pop and alternative music style on the cello, a typically classical instrument, while singing at the same time. She has released eight full-length studio albums to date.

Dany Bédar is a francophone Québécois singer from Val-d'Or in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, Canada. At the age of 19, Bédar moved to Montreal, where he played bass guitar with the local band La Chicane from 1999 to 2007, quickly demonstrating his talents as a composer with "Tu m'manques," which earned three Félix Awards and one Juno Award.
Rah Rah was an indie rock musical group formed in 2006 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. They toured extensively across North America and Europe. The band released four full-length albums, including 2015's Vessels. After a three-year hiatus, the band played three final live shows in December of 2019 and disbanded.
The Barr Brothers is an indie folk band founded in Montreal, Quebec in 2006, consisting of two American brothers Andrew and Brad Barr, as well as bassist Morgan Moore, pedal steel guitarist Brett Lanier, and harpist Eveline Gregoire-Rousseau.
Milk & Bone are a Canadian electropop duo based in Montreal, Quebec, consisting of Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin. Their debut album Little Mourning, released in 2015 via Bonsound, was a longlisted nominee for the 2015 Polaris Music Prize. Although both of the band members are francophones, they write and record in English.
Ayrad is a Canadian world music group from Montreal, who play a modern spin on traditional Moroccan music. Led by vocalist Hamza Abouabdelmajid, band members include Annick Beauvais on oboe, bass and reita; Gabriel Brochu-Lajoie on bass and double bass; Anit Ghosh on violin; Kattam Laraki-Côté on percussion; and Sylvain Plante on drums.
Boogat is a Canadian-Mexican musician from Quebec City, Quebec, whose style blends hip hop with Latin music styles such as cumbia and reggaeton. He won the Juno Award for World Music Album of the Year for his album Neo-Reconquista at the Juno Awards of 2016 and the ADISQ Awards of 2016.
Terra Lightfoot is a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario who has released four albums with the independent music label Sonic Unyon Recording Company and is distributed by Universal Music Group in Canada and The Orchard outside of Canada. She performs in a folk and roots rock style known for bold vocals and electric guitar riffs.
Hubert Lenoir is the stage name of Hubert Chiasson, a French Canadian, singer, musician and actor from Quebec City, Quebec. His debut solo album Darlène was a shortlisted finalist for the 2018 Polaris Music Prize.
Jacques Kuba Séguin is a Polish Canadian musician and radio host.
Rossignuoli (Walter) Rossi was an Italian-Canadian musician who was active from the 1960s to 2000s. As a guitarist, he played for Wilson Pickett and the Buddy Miles Express in the 1960s. With his own bands, Rossi played with Influence and Luke & The Apostles from the 1960s to 1970s. After his tenure with the band Charlee, he worked as a session musician throughout the 1970s with Boule Noire, Michel Pagliaro and Nanette Workman. As a musician, Rossi debuted with his self-titled album in 1976. Following Walter Rossi, he released Six Strings, Nine Lives in 1978 and Diamonds For the Kid in 1980.
Zal Sissokho is a Senegalese-Canadian musician based in Montreal, Quebec. He is most noted for his 2020 album Kora Flamenca, an exploration of the fusion of African kora with Spanish flamenco which won the Félix Award for World Music Album of the Year at the 42nd Félix Awards. The album has also been shortlisted for the Juno Award for World Music Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2021, and won the Canadian Folk Music Award for World Music Album of the Year at the 16th Canadian Folk Music Awards.
