Guy Loando Mboyo (born February 5,1983) is a lawyer,Congolese politician and a member of the Senate of Democratic Republic of the Congo since 2019 who was appointed Minister of State in charge of Regional Planning since April 2021. He is the founder of the Widal Foundation in September 2018. [1]
Guy Loando Mboyo was born on February 5,1983,in Bokungu in the province of the Tshuapa (formerly Grand-Équateur,in Zaire,currently the Democratic Republic of the Congo). [2] [1] He was the last born in a family of eight children. During his childhood,his family moved to Mbandaka where he did his secondary studies. He obtained his state diploma in literary studies at the Mbandaka School of Application (École d'application de Mbandaka,in acronym EDAP) in 2001 and moved to the country's capital city Kinshasa to continue his university studies in law at the University of Kinshasa. After graduating in law (with a specialisation in social and economic law) from the University of Kinshasa,Guy Loando Mboyo began his career as a lawyer and legal advisor in the mining,business and private investment sectors. He gained important contacts at national and international level which allowed him to start working in business. [4] He is the main shareholder of "GLM &Associates",a law firm based in Kinshasa,administrator of companies and chairman of the Widal Foundation. [5]
Guy Loando Mboyo was elected senator of Tshuapa in the April 2019 senatorial elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In November 2020,he had his first book,entitled "Le Congo d'après :Nécessitéd'un changement de cap post-Covid-19" published,by French book publisher L'Harmattan. [6]
In April 2021,he was appointed Minister of State in charge of Regional Planning by President Félix Tshisekedi. [7] [8]
Through this humanitarian structure Widal Foundation , created in September 2018 with his wife, Déborah Linda Loando, Mboyo pursues an objective to reduce poverty in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, especially in Tshuapa and Kinshasa. [9] On Sunday May 5, 2019, in the municipality of Limete (Kinshasa), during the official launch of the foundation, [10] Guy Loando explained his objectives and his mission, which are to support the most vulnerable in Congolese society by training them to become entrepreneurs. He is married to Déborah Linda Loando (born Déborah "Bobo" Elite Linda) and is the father of their three children.
Équateur was a province in the northwest of the Belgian Congo and the successor Republic of the Congo, now known as Democratic Republic of the Congo. It had its origins in the Équateur District of the Congo Free State, the private property of King Leopold II of Belgium. It was upgraded to the status of a province in 1917. The Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte, or simply the Stade des Martyrs, is the national stadium of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), located in the Kinshasa commune of the capital Kinshasa. With a seating capacity of 80,000, it is the largest stadium in the DRC and the fourth-largest stadium in Africa. It serves as the home stadium for the Congolese football national team, AS Vita Club, and DCMP, making it the largest multifunctional venue in the country.
Mont Ngafula, or Mont-Ngafula, is a municipality (commune) in the Lukunga District of Kinshasa, in the western part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). By its surface area, Mont Ngafula is the third-largest commune in Kinshasa's city-province. It is located in the hilly southern area of Kinshasa and is intersected by the Lukaya River valley in its southern portion. The boundary with the Ngaliema commune is defined by the Lukunga River. Mont Ngafula shares borders with the Makala commune to the north, the Kongo Central Province to the south, the Lemba and Kisenso communes to the east, and the Selembao commune to the west. It has an estimated population of 718,197 (2015).
Gombe, also known as La Gombe, or Downtown Kinshasa, is one of the 24 communes of Kinshasa, in the western part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Encompassing a vast area of approximately 29.33 square kilometers, it is home to an approximate population of 49,024 residents (2014).

Tshuapa is one of the 21 new provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo created in the 2015 repartitioning. Tshuapa, Équateur, Mongala, Nord-Ubangi, and Sud-Ubangi provinces are the result of the dismemberment of the former Équateur province. Tshuapa was formed from the Tshuapa District whose town of Boende was elevated to capital city of the new province.
Lukunga is an area of the capital city of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, comprising seven of the city-province's twenty-four administrative divisions—the communes of Barumbu, Gombe, Kinshasa, Kintambo, Lingwala, Mont Ngafula and Ngaliema. It is one of the four so-called districts of Kinshasa. These were the administrative divisions of Kinshasa during much of the Mobutu years (1965-1997) and around which a number of government systems and services are still organized. For instance, Lukunga makes up a fourteen-member National Assembly constituency designated as Kinshasa I. However, these districts are not part of Congo's territorial organization.
Fally Ipupa N'simba, known professionally as Fally Ipupa, is a Congolese singer-songwriter, dancer, philanthropist, guitarist, and producer. The Ngiri Reserve is a protected area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). It is located in western Équateur province, in the Bomongo, Bikoro and Makanza territories, and covers a total area of 1,000 square kilometres (390 sq mi). It extends northward from the confluence of the Congo River and the Ubangi River. According to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) the reserve will conserve biodiversity and the ecosystem in the Ngiri triangle.
Matata Ponyo Mapon is a Congolese political figure who was Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 18 April 2012 to 17 November 2016. Previously he served as Minister of Finance from 21 February 2010 to 12 April 2012; as Prime Minister, he retained responsibility for the finance portfolio. He currently serves as Senator for Maniema.
Henri-Thomas Lokondo Yoka was a Congolese politician who served as a deputy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo National Assembly from 2011 until his death in 2021. He previously held office as Deputy Minister of Public Works from 1993 until 1994 and Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations from 1996 until 1997. In the 2000s he formed his own party, the Union Congolaise pour la Liberté.

The Momboyo River is a river in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It joins the Busira River to form the Ruki River, a tributary of the Congo River. The Momboya and its main tributary the Luilaka are navigable for 545 kilometres (339 mi) from its mouth.
The Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Sama Lukonde assumed the office on 15 February 2021. He announced his first cabinet on 12 April 2021. On 24 March 2023, a second cabinet was announced.

Kinyandonyi is a village in the Rutshuru Territory of the North Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Kinyandonyi is situated 10 km east of the city of Kiwanja in Bukoma groupement, in the Bwisha Chiefdom and 85 km north of the capital of the province Goma. The region is inhabited by the Hunde people as well as some remaining autochthonous populations of African Pygmies, including the Twa people and the Mbuti people. In addition to the Hunde, Twa, and Mbuti, there are other ethnic groups, including the Nyanga, Lega, Kumu, Hutu and Tutsi.
