The men's floor event at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 27 July and 3 August 2024 at the Accor Arena (referred to as the Bercy Arena due to IOC sponsorship rules). [1]
The top 8 qualifiers (limit two per NOC) for floor exercise advanced to the apparatus finals.
The competition was held over two days, 27 July and 3 August. The qualifying round (for all men's gymnastics events) was on the first day with the apparatus final on the second day.

Jordan Lucella Elizabeth Chiles is an American artistic gymnast. She won a gold medal in the Women's Artistic Team All-Around at the 2024 Paris Olympics, having previously won a silver medal in the same event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She was a member of the team that won gold at the 2022 World Championships. Individually, she is 2022 World vault silver medalist and floor silver medalist. She has been a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team since 2013. In NCAA Gymnastics, Chiles competes for the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team, where she has won two Pac-12 titles and two NCAA championships.
The women's artistic individual all-around competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was held at the Arena Olímpica do Rio on 11 August.
Xiao Ruoteng is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He competed at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games, winning five medals. He is the 2017 World all-around champion and the 2018 World pommel horse champion. As a member of the Chinese team, he is a 2018 World champion and a two-time Asian Games champion. He is also the 2017 Asian all-around and pommel horse champion.

Carlos Edriel Poquiz Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast. He is the 2024 Olympic gold medalist at the floor exercise and vault events. He is the first Filipino and the first male Southeast Asian gymnast to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships with his floor exercise bronze medal finish in 2018, as well as the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to achieve a gold medal finish for the same criteria in 2019 at the same event. With multiple medals on the international stage, Yulo is the most successful Filipino gymnast in history, the second person to win an Olympic gold medal for the Philippines, and the first person to win multiple Olympic gold medals for the country.
Tang Chia-hung is a Taiwanese artistic gymnast. He won the gold medal on the horizontal bar and the silver medal on the floor exercise at the 2018 Asian Games He is the 2019 Summer Universiade horizontal bar champion. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and he won the bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics on the horizontal bar.
Ryu Sung-hyun is a South Korean artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 Junior World champion on the floor exercise. He represented South Korea at the 2020 Summer Olympics and placed fourth in the floor exercise final. He won two bronze medals at the 2021 Summer World University Games. He has qualified to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics through the 2024 FIG World Cup series.
Illia Yuriiovych Kovtun is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He is the 2023 World all-around silver medalist and 2021 World all-around bronze medalist. Kovtun also won the silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics on parallel bars. At the European Championships he is the 2023 European champion on parallel bars as well as a one-time silver medalist and a three-time bronze medalist. Additionally he is a two-time junior world championships medalist.
Audrys Nin Reyes is a Dominican artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 and 2023 Pan American Games vault champion. He was the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at the Pan American Games. He was also the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at an FIG World Cup event when he won the vault title at the 2017 Osijek World Challenge Cup. He is the 2017 Pan American vault and horizontal bar champion and the 2017 Universiade vault champion. He is also the 2018 and 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games vault champion. He has qualified to represent the Dominican Republic at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the first male gymnast from his country to do so.
Jake Jarman is a British artistic gymnast from Peterborough, competing internationally for Great Britain, and for England at the Commonwealth Games. In his first major senior championships, the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Jarman won the gold medal in the team all-around, individual all-around, floor exercise and vault, the first English male gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games. A few weeks later in Munich, representing Great Britain, Jarman became European champion in the team and vault events, becoming the first British male to win European gold on vault. In 2023, Jarman added vault gold at the 2023 World Championships, the first Briton to win world gold on the apparatus, the fourth male British world champion, and sixth British world champion.
The men's artistic individual all-around event at the 2024 Summer Olympics was scheduled to take place on 27 and 31 July 2024 at the Accor Arena. 44 gymnasts from 23 nations competed in the all-around in the qualifying round.
The men's vault event at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 27 July and 4 August 2024 at the Accor Arena. Unlike the other apparatus events, the vault requires gymnasts to perform two exercises in order for results to count towards the vault final; most of the gymnasts perform only one or none. 18 gymnasts from 16 nations competed in the two-exercise vault in the qualifying round.
