H. Lalzirliana (born 4 January 1970) [1] is an Indian politician from Mizoram. He is an MLA from Mamit Assembly constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes community, in Mamit District. He won the 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly election, representing the Mizo National Front. [2]
Lalzirliana is born in Mamit, Mizoram. He is the son of late. H. Thanzauva. He married C. Lalfamkimi and they have two daughters and a son. [3] He completed his B.Tech. in 1996 at North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology. [1]
Lalzirliana won from Mamit Assembly constituency representing the Mizo National Front in the 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly election. He polled 7,167 votes and defeated his nearest rival, K. Lalthanzama of the Indian National Congress, by a margin of 1,792 votes. [4] He first became an MLA winning the 2018 Mizoram Legislative Assembly election, defeating John Rotluangliana of the Indian National Congress, by a margin of 407 votes. [5] [6]
Lalduhoma is an Indian politician who serves as the 6th Chief Minister of Mizoram since 8 December 2023. Formerly an Indian Police Service officer, he resigned from the security service to the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and was elected as Member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha from Mizoram and President of the Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee in 1984. He however left the party from which he was elected two years later, for which he was disqualified from the Parliament. He became the first MP in India to be discharged based upon its anti-defection law.

R Lalzirliana is a Mizo National Front politician from Mizoram. He was the minister for power and electricity, art and culture, land resources, soil and water conservation and district council affairs departments of Mizoram.
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Mizoram on 7 November 2023 to elect all 40 members of Mizoram Legislative Assembly, which had 174 candidates and saw 80.66% voter turnout. The votes were counted on 4 December 2023 which showed the Zoram People's Movement's victory winning 27 seats out of 40.
