Tetrasulfane (S 4 H 2) is an inorganic chemical compound featuring a disulfide and two thiol groups.
Similar to other polysulfanes, it can be made by neutralizing the given polysulfane salt with an acid, like HCl or H2SO4. Example given with HCl and Na 2 S 4:
Same as other polysulfanes, tetrasulfane it is a yellowish, oily liquid. It's density is around 1.5g/cm3 (±0.1 g/cm3). [2]
