HAVAS guruhi, meaning White Envy, is an Uzbekistani music group composed of seven members of the Ermatov family who are popularly known for singing Indian songs. The group was founded by a couple, Rustam and his wife Matluba, who are the director and producer of the group respectively. The singers and musicians of the band are their four children. The eldest child, a son named Khakhramon is the winner of Uzbekistan's Nihol award. The second child is a daughter named Shakhnoza. The third child is a son named Dostonbek. The fourth and youngest child is a daughter named Robiya. Nilufar, the wife of eldest son Khakhramon, is a former TV anchor and the present public relations officer of their band. [1] [2] [3]
They are winners of several international contests. They held their first Bollywood concert in Uzbekistan in 2017, and this was a big success. They have performed in several Indian cities and sung in many Indian languages. They also participated in the first season of StarPlus's music show Dil Hai Hindustani. [1] [3] [4]
The group was founded in 2010. [1] [2] It is led by the director and producer couple Ermatov Rustamjon Gulomjonovich (Rustam) and his wife Ermatova Matluba Murotkhojaevna (Matluba). Rustam is the group leader and director. His wife Matluba, a graduate in child psychology, is the producer who also manages her family's large textile business. Their son Gulomjonov Khakhramon (Khakhramon) and daughter Gulomjanova Shakhnoza (Shakhnoza) are singers. Khakhramon, the winner of the Nihol national award, awarded by the president for excellence in music, is the lead singer, composer, and keyboard player. Singer Shahnoza is also a keyboard player and painter. Rustam and Matluba's younger son Gulomjanov Dostonbek (Dostonbek) and multiple awards winning youngest daughter Gulomjanova Robiyakhon (Robiya) are also singers and violinists in the band. Robiya has been singing in concerts since the age of 6 years. The eldest child of the founder couple, Khakhramon - the lead singer, was 25 years old as of January 2019. [1] [2] [3] [5]
Indian music is popular in Uzbekistan, and Bollywood actors and singers, such as Raj Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, and Arijit Singh, have large fan followings in Uzbekistan. [1] The founding couple both love listening to the songs of legendary Indian actor Raj Kapoor, which also inspired their children to take up singing Indian songs. [3] Since the family does not understand any Indian languages, Kakhramon initially had difficulty in singing Indian songs. Once he grasped the emotions, after searching the lyrics on the internet and translating into the Uzbek language, he became good at singing Indian songs. [3] Ermatov family visited RK Studio, founded by Raj Kapoor in Mumbai in India, to pay tribute to their inspiration Raj Kapoor. [3]
They first went viral after Khakhramon sung cult classic song Awaara Hoon, from Raj Kapoor's 1951 film Awaara, during the celebration of 25 years of India–Uzbekistan relations at the Indian embassy in Uzbekistan. Raj Kapoor and his songs are very popular in India and overseas, especially in the former USSR bloc. [6]

[3] They have sung in several Indian languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, and Malayalam. [3] They have performed in such asIndian cities including Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Pune, and Coimbatore. [3] Their Delhi concert was attended by Raj Kapoor's son Rishi Kapoor who was moved to tears. [3] They received a good response from the Indian audience during their performances in several cities of India in 2018-19. [4] They sing old and contemporary popular songs, including melodies of Raj Kapoor, Manoj Kumar, Sadhana, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Kajol, and more. [5]
During their January 2018 performance in Coimbatore, they were the stars of the event. The group started with the national anthem Jana Gana Mana of India and State Anthem of Uzbekistan and also sung popular songs by Raj Kapoor and the Malayalam song Entammede Jimikki Kammal. [7] During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, they held a virtual tv concert on the Indian channel ABP News to cheer people up. [8]
Their concerts in several Indian cities and TV shows, with songs in many Indian languages, have been well received. [1] [3] [9] Rishi Kapoor and Shashi Tharoor shared their music video on Twitter, Rishi Kapoor was touched by their performance of his father's songs, and Shashi Tharoor lauded them as an example of the soft power of India. The band has won several international contests. [3] Lead singer Khakhramon was also honored with Uzbekistan's Nihol award by the President of Uzbekistan for excellence in music. [2]
Shashi Kapoor was an Indian actor and film producer who is best known for his works in Hindi films. A recipient of several accolades, including four National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards, he also featured in a number of English-language international films, particularly films produced by Merchant Ivory. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 2011, and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, in 2014, for his contribution to Indian cinema.

It also became an overseas blockbuster in the Soviet Union, where it drew an audience of 62.6 million viewers, making it one of the top 20 biggest box office hits of all time in the Soviet Union.
Awaara, also written Awāra and known overseas as The Vagabond, is a 1951 Indian crime drama film, produced and directed by Raj Kapoor, and written by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas. It stars Raj Kapoor along with his real-life father Prithviraj Kapoor, as well as Nargis, Leela Chitnis and K. N. Singh. Other members of the Kapoor family make an appearance, including Raj's youngest brother Shashi Kapoor, who plays the younger version of his character, and Prithiviraj's father Dewan Basheshwarnath Kapoor, playing a cameo in his only film appearance. The film's music was composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
Shree 420 is a 1955 Indian Hindi comedy-drama film directed and produced by Raj Kapoor from a story written by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas whose use of Shree with the negative connotations of 420 caused controversy. The film stars Nargis, Nadira, and Kapoor. The number 420 refers to Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, which prescribes the punishment for the offence of fraud; hence, "Mr. 420" is a derogatory term for a fraud. The film centers on Raj Kapoor, a poor but educated orphan who comes to Bombay with dreams of success. Kapoor's character is influenced by Charlie Chaplin's "little tramp", much like Kapoor's character in his 1951 Awaara. The music was composed by the team of Shankar Jaikishan, and the lyrics were penned by Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri.
Mera Naam Joker is a 1970 Indian romantic drama film, directed, edited and produced by Raj Kapoor under his banner R. K. Films, and written by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas. The film stars Raj Kapoor as the eponymous character, with his son Rishi Kapoor making his screen debut playing his younger version, along with Simi Garewal, Kseniya Ryabinkina, Padmini, Manoj Kumar and Dharmendra in supporting roles. The plot focuses on a clown who must make his audience laugh at the cost of his sorrows; three women who shaped his life view his final performance.
Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The Kapoor family is a prominent Indian show business family with at least 4 generations of the family over 95 years being active in the Hindi film industry. Numerous members of the family, both (biological) and those who have married into the family, have had prolific careers as actors, film directors and producers. "The Pioneer" founder of the dynasty was "The Patriarch", Prithviraj Kapoor, who was the first member of family to begin acting in movies with his 1929 debut film Be Dhari Talwar. Mohammed Aziz, also known as saikh azad Bihar, was an Indian multilingual playback singer who primarily sang for the Bollywood, Odia films, Bengali. He made his first appearance in films Odia film titled Jaga Hatare Pagha directed by Mohammad Mohsin, with the song Rupa Sagadi re Suna Kaniya. R. K. Films was an Indian film production company based in R. K. Studio, a film studio, both established by and named after the Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor. It was headquartered at Chembur, Mumbai. Founded in 1948, one year after India gained independence. It had a rough start, as its first movie, Aag (1948) did not perform well at the box office. Most of the R. K. Films productions share a common theme of criticising society and depicting love across social divides.
"Awaara Hoon" is a song from the 1951 Indian film Awaara, directed by and starring Raj Kapoor, which was internationally popular. The song was written in the Hindi-Urdu language by lyricist Shailendra, and sung by Mukesh. "Awaara Hoon" immediately struck "a chord in audiences from various classes and backgrounds all over India and beyond: in China, in the Soviet Union, in the Middle East." In China, "both the song and film were said to be Chairman Mao's favourites." In a May 2013 BBC poll, the song was rated the second-greatest Bollywood song of all time.
