Shotru(Bengali: শত্রু ; English: Enemy) is a 2011 Indian Bengali-language action thriller film directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film was produced by Ashok Dhanuka under the banner of Eskay Movies. Inspired from the Rajib Das murder case in Barasat (2011) and human trafficking cases taken places in West Bengal in 2011, it stars Jeet, Supriyo Dutta and Nusrat Jahan in lead roles, while Kharaj Mukherjee, Dipankar De, Biswajit Chakraborty, Saayoni Ghosh, Raja Dutta and Biplab Chatterjee played other pivotal roles. It marks the debut of Nusrat Jahan. The soundtrack and background score was composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, with screenplay and dialogues written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and Abhimanyu Mukherjee.

Hemlock Society is an Indian Bengali romantic dark comedy released on 22 June 2012, directed by Srijit Mukherji, who is also the director of Autograph and Baishe Srabon. The film's cast consists of Parambrata Chatterjee, Koel Mallick, and Soumitra Chatterjee. The name is inspired by the erstwhile Hemlock Society, a society which was based in Santa Monica, US. The primary missions of this society included providing information to dying persons and supporting legislation permitting physician-assisted suicide. The movie was remade in Marathi in 2015 as Welcome Zindagi. A box-office success.
Proloy is a 2013 Indian Bengali language socio-political action-crime thriller film co-written and directed by Raj Chakraborty, produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, starring Parambrata Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Saswata Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh, Supriyo Dutta and Mimi Chakraborty in lead roles. This movie is inspired on the life of Barun Biswas, a social activist and teacher. The film's music is by Indraadip Dasgupta in his second collaboration with Banerjee, with 2 additional tracks by Nilesh Dasgupta. The film was critically and commercially well received and the performances along with the direction was praised. Due to multiple creative differences, this was Sonali Banerjee's last film with Shree Venkatesh Films. Sonali Banerjee named the film Roshni after her sister who was raped and killed and said that the movie was a tribute to her. Throughout the years, the film has gained a cult status and is often regarded as Raj Chakraborty's best film.
