Hannah Felicity May Reid [1] (born 30 December 1989 [2] ) is an English musician. She is the lead singer of the indie pop band London Grammar.
Reid grew up in Acton, and went to school in West London. She received vocal training, and wanted to pursue psychoanalysis as a career, working as a hairdresser and in a bar, before going to university. She was initially planning to pursue acting after earning a drama scholarship. Reid was studying art history and English at the University of Nottingham where she met guitarist Dan Rothman in a residence hall. Together with Rothman and Dominic 'Dot' Major, she started the band London Grammar in 2009. [3]
Reid's battle with stage fright has been widely reported; in an interview she said about being on stage '"sometimes the nerves don't lift at all, and I just feel horrible, and panicky throughout"'. To help combat this, she started practising Emotional Freedom Technique. [2] In 2013, the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show published a tweet about her appearance, and Reid commented on the "casual sexism" this showed. [4]

Marmaduke Duke are a Scottish conceptual rock duo from Ayrshire, Scotland, comprising Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro and JP Reid of Sucioperro. Within the band, the pair perform under the pseudonyms The Atmosphere and The Dragon respectively. According to Neil, the band, and its albums, are "based on a trilogy of unreleased manuscripts that a friend of ours brought to this country a few years ago. We're really just working to soundtrack those stories."
The Maccabees were an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in London. If You Wait is the debut studio album by English indie pop band London Grammar, released on 6 September 2013 by Metal & Dust Recordings and Ministry of Sound. Seven singles were released from the album: "Metal & Dust", "Wasting My Young Years", "Strong", "Nightcall", "Hey Now", "Sights" and "If You Wait". The album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart with first-week sales of 33,130 copies.
