The Harbin Korean No. 2 Middle School (also Harbin Korean 2nd Nationality Middle School) is a school for ethnic Korean residents of Harbin,Heilongjiang in northeast China. [1] [2]
Korean No. 2 Middle School was established in 1962,and received permission to convert from an ordinary middle school to a foreign-language vocational middle school in September 1992. It was the only ethnic vocational middle school in Heilongjiang province. [3] Its conversion into a municipal-level standard school was approved in December 2010. [4]
In 2006,the Heilongjiang College of Education organised computer training for teachers at the school and several other Korean schools in the province. [5] In 2011,the school signed an agreement with the Harbin Tourism Department to train Korean-speaking tour guides. [6]
The No. 2 Korean Middle School is located at 86 Tongjiang Street,Daoli District,in a building constructed in the late 1910s. The same building once housed the city's Jewish Middle School;it is listed by the municipal government as a second-class preserved historical building. [7]

By far the most populous and densely populated of Harbin's county-level divisions,it borders the districts of Daowai and Xiangfang to the northeast,Pingfang to the southeast,Shuangcheng to the south,and Daoli to the west. A new subway system is also being built currently.

The Harbin Metro is the rapid transit system of Harbin,the provincial capital of Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China.́The system began operation on 26 September 2013 with the opening of Line 1. The system has a total of three lines as of November 2021.

The district was approved to establish from the former Hulan County (呼兰县) by the Chinese State Council on February 4,2004. It borders Bayan County to the east,Bin County to the southeast,Daowai District to the south,and Songbei District to the southwest,as well as the prefecture-level city of Suihua to the northwest.

It borders Tonghe County to the east,Fangzheng County to the southeast,Bin County to the south,and Bayan County to the west,as well as the prefecture-level city of Suihua to the north. The county is not related to Chinese figure Hua Mulan.

Harbin–Mudanjiang intercity railway is a high-speed railway in Heilongjiang Province,China,between the cities Harbin and Mudanjiang. It is a Passenger Dedicated Line (PDL),with a design speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and a total length 293.2 km (182.2 mi). Starting in Harbin,it leads east to Acheng,into mountains at Mao'ershan,to Shangzhi,again through the mountains to the southeast,Weihe,Yabuli,Hengdaohezi,Hailin and on to the end at Mudanjiang station. Future proposals for this line could see it extended across the border into Russia and the Russian port city of Vladivostok.
