Mark LoMonaco is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and Impact Wrestling under the ring name Bully Ray. He was previously known as one-half of The Dudley Boyz tag team under the ring name Bubba Ray Dudley during his tenures in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Devon Hughes is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he most recently worked backstage as a producer. Hughes wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1995 to 1999 and for the WWF/E from 1999 to 2005 and from 2015 to 2016 as D-Von Dudley and Reverend D-Von. He performed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) from 2005 to 2014 as Brother Devon and Devon.

He is best known for his time with Impact Wrestling under the ring name Abyss. He became a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He is the heaviest wrestler to hold the X Division Championship and was the longest reigning Television Champion. In the tag team division, he held the NWA World Tag Team Championship once with A.J. Styles, and the TNA World Tag Team Championship twice, once with James Storm as The Revolution, and once with Crazzy Steve as Decay.
Elijah Samuel Burke is an American professional wrestler also known under the ring names "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and Da Pope. He currently wrestles for National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) as "Da Pope" Elijah Burke, where he is a former World Television Champion. He started his wrestling career in 2003, working for World Wrestling Entertainment, first in their developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling, and later on their main roster from 2006 to 2008. While in WWE he would occasionally do commentary during events, but was primarily used as a wrestler, especially as part of The New Breed stable.

From 2008 to 2009, the team was managed by Storm's continuing manager Jacqueline.

The event was hyped as "10.10.10", a tagline surrounding a storyline that involved the mystery of "They", who would reveal themselves on the date, making the event remembered for the formation of Immortal.

Styles, James Storm, Kazarian and Robert Roode, the group was modeled and named after Flair's former alliance, the Four Horsemen. The group later also came to include Christopher Daniels, Douglas Williams, Rob Terry, and Matt Morgan.
Immortal was a heel professional wrestling alliance in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It originally consisted of leaders Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan, as well as Abyss, Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett, and later also came to include Bully Ray, Chris Harris, Gunner, Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy, Mr. Anderson, Murphy, Ric Flair, Rob Terry, Scott Steiner, and Tommy Dreamer as well as the members of the formerly separate stable Fortune. Referee Jackson James and valet Karen Jarrett were also affiliated with the group. Jeff Hardy was a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, while Anderson and Angle were one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champions as members of the stable, and Jarrett was also a one-time holder of the AAA Mega Championship in the Mexican promotion AAA. The group's name was derived from Hogan's long-standing nickname "The Immortal".

It was the seventh annual event under the Bound for Glory chronology, and the premiere event of 2011 for TNA. On top of that, it was the first Bound for Glory in the city of Philadelphia and the second TNA PPV to be held in Philadelphia after TNA Lockdown in 2009. This was also the first TNA PPV that was simulcast live in over 100 theaters across the country.
Mexican America was an American professional wrestling stable in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, consisting of leader Hernandez, Anarquia, Rosita and Sarita, who were portrayed as villainous anti-Americans, promoting the superiority of Mexican-Americans. While all members were portrayed as Mexican-Americans, Rosita is in fact Puerto Rican-American, while Sarita is Canadian, though she has wrestled in Mexico for the majority of her career, and Hernandez is of both Mexican and Puerto Rican descent. Hernandez and Anarquia are former TNA World Tag Team Champions and Rosita and Sarita former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. The group's motto was "nada es imposible", after a tattoo on Hernandez's biceps.

Aces & Eights are an American stable in the promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), initially consisting of a group of masked wrestlers before their identities were revealed. It had the gimmick of an outlaw motorcycle club; members of the stable rode motorcycles, wore kutte, and were referred to as either "prospects" or "patched in". The name of the stable is a reference to the two pair poker hand known as the "dead man's hand".
SoCal Uncensored (SCU) was an American professional wrestling collective that consisted of Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky. They are signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Daniels and Kazarian are no longer able to team together due to a stipulation in which they had to disband; their final teaming together came in May 2021. Sky, contrarily, began focusing on singles competition in early 2020 and then formed a heel tag team with Ethan Page in March 2021.
The Bound for Glory Series is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Impact Wrestling in which 12 wrestlers compete in a series of matches over the course of several months to determine who receives a match for the Impact World Championship at Bound for Glory, which is Impact Wrestling's premier yearly PPV event. In 2016 TNA announced the Bound for Glory Playoffs which took place in a tournament format instead of the original round robin format.
The 2013 Hardcore Justice was the ninth edition of Hardcore Justice professional wrestling event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on August 15, 2013 and aired on the August 15 and August 22 broadcasts of TNA's weekly flagship program Impact Wrestling. Unlike the previous events, this event was not held on pay-per-view (PPV) and instead, like Destination X, was featured as a special edition of TNA's weekly broadcast of Impact Wrestling.
