Victory Road is a professional wrestling TNA+ event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Victory Road was initially the first three-hour pay-per-view card held by the promotion in November 2004. In 2006, it became an annual pay-per-view for the month of July. All events except for the 2008 edition have been held inside the Impact Zone. It was announced in January 2011 that the event would be moved from July to March, switching places with TNA's traditional March PPV, Destination X. [1]

The PPV event was canceled in December 2012, but has since been revived as a One Night Only PPV in 2014, a television special in 2017, and as an Impact Plus Monthly Special in 2019.

History

Victory Road was a pay-per-view event consisting of a main event and undercard that feature championship matches and other various matches. The inaugural event took place on November 7, 2004 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. All Victory Road PPVS have taken place at the Impact Zone, except for Victory Road (2008), which took place at the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas.

Victory Road (2004) was the very first 3-hour pay-per-view produced by TNA. It did not take place in 2005 as it was replaced by Unbreakable. Beginning in 2006, Victory Road became a permanent PPV on the TNA schedule.

From 2006 to 2010, Victory Road took place in the month of July. Beginning with the 2011 event, it took place in the month of March. Victory Road was switched with TNA's traditional March PPV, Destination X. [1]

Sacrifice 2008 continued the tradition with the finals of the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament. Sacrifice 2009 featured Beer Money, Inc. defeating The British Invasion in the finals of the Team 3D Invitational Tag Team Tournament. All events take place inside the Impact! Zone. On January 11, 2013, TNA announced that in 2013 will be only four PPVs, dropping Sacrifice. In 2016, Sacrifice was held as a special edition of Impact Wrestling and the promotion revived it as a monthly special for Impact Plus in 2020.

Final Resolution is a professional wrestling TNA+ event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in December. Initially introduced as a pay-per-view by TNA in 2005, the event originally took place in January until 2008, when TNA moved the event to December of that year, with two Final Resolutions took place that year. On January 11, 2013, TNA announced that only four PPVs would be produced that year, with Final Resolution among the titles dropped. It would be produced as a special episode of TNA's weekly television program Impact Wrestling in 2013 and was revived as a monthly special for Impact Plus in 2020.

The Motor City Machine Guns are an American professional wrestling tag team consisting of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. They are best known for their time with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA)/Impact Wrestling. The team name, which has been variably Motor and Murder City, is a play on the nickname of Detroit, the hometown of both Shelley and Sabin. The duo also make appearances for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) on the NJPW Strong brand, as well as Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) and Deadlock Pro-Wrestling (DPW). Originally forming a team in Pro Wrestling Zero1 in 2006, Shelley and Sabin have worked together on and off ever since.
