Tamara Cofman Wittes is an American writer and public figure. She became the fourth president of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in 2024. Before joining the Institute,she served as Director of Foreign Assistance for the US State Department. Until November 2021,she was a senior fellow in the Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution. She directed the Center from March 2012 through March 2017. Jack D. H. Hays was a justice of the Supreme Court of Arizona from January 4,1969 to January 5,1987. He served as chief justice for three consecutive terms,from January 1972 to December 1974. At the time of his death,Hays still held the record for the most opinions authored by a justice in any single year (100).
Hattie Myrtle Greene Lockett was an American writer,rancher,and clubwoman. She was inducted into the Arizona Women's Hall of Fame in 1987.
