Harriet Rose (born 8 August 1989) is an English radio and television presenter, known for presenting various shows on the radio stations FUBAR Radio and Kiss. She has also appeared as a guest on Big Brother: Late & Live in 2024, and is set to present the digital series The Masked Singer: The After Mask in 2025.

Life and career

Harriet Rose was born on 8 August 1989. [1] [2] She was raised in the West Midlands. At age 19, she moved to London, living in areas such as New Cross and Bromley, before moving to live in Walthamstow Village. [3] She presented on FUBAR Radio, before moving to Kiss. [4] In September 2020, she joined KISS Breakfast alongside Diversity's Ashley Banjo and Perri Kiely, and has since gone on to present Kisstory. [5]

Rose has also presented programmes for MTV, as well as online programme's BUILD Series LDN, Beat the Street and Planet Date. In 2021, she hosted the backstage digital show for the MTV Europe Music Awards. [6] In 2024, Rose served as a celebrity house guest on Big Brother: Late & Live . [7] In 2024, Rose is set to begin presenting The Masked Singer: The After Mask , a digital spin-off of The Masked Singer . [8] Rose is a lesbian. [1] [9] She organises and hosts the annual event GAY4U, a queer club event in London. [10]

Masked Singer is an international music reality game show franchise. It originated from the South Korean program The King of Mask Singer, developed by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation.

<i>The Masked Singer</i> (British TV series) British television series

The Masked Singer is a British reality singing competition and musical game show that premiered on ITV1 on 4 January 2020. It is based on the Masked Singer franchise which originated from the South Korean version of the show King of Mask Singer which features celebrities singing famous songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. In February 2022, the show was recommissioned for a fourth and fifth series. The show won an International Emmy for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment in 2021.

The sixth series of the British version of The Masked Singer will premiere on ITV in December 2024, following a Christmas special episode on 26 December. Joel Dommett is set to return as the show's presenter, whilst Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross will return as panellists, along with Maya Jama who replaced Rita Ora on the panel. The series is the first in another two-year commissioning by ITV and is also set to be accompanied by a digital spin-off show for the first time, titled The After Mask, presented by Harriet Rose.
