Harrison Central School District is a public school district serving the town and village of Harrison, New York in Westchester County, New York. It operates one high school, Harrison High School, one middle school, Louis M. Klein Middle School and four elementary schools, Purchase, Parsons, Harrison Avenue School (HAS), and Prestons.
The school district was established in the late nineteenth century as Union free School District No. 6, in conjunction with the neighboring town of Rye, New York. It has since severed ties with Rye, and now serves only residents of the town of Harrison, including the village of Harrison and Purchase, New York.
The mascot for teams of all sports and all ages is the Husky. The colors are maroon and white.

At the 2010 U.S. census, the village had a population of 28,967 and was the fifth-most populous village in New York State. In 2019, its population grew to a census-estimated 29,342 residents. Located in southeast Westchester, Port Chester forms part of the New York City metropolitan statistical area. Port Chester borders Connecticut and the town of Greenwich to the east. It is one of only 12 villages in New York still incorporated under a charter; other villages either incorporated or reincorporated under the provisions of Village Law.

New York State Route 120 (NY 120) is a state highway in southern Westchester County, New York, in the United States. It begins in the city of Rye at an intersection with U.S. Route 1 (US 1) and runs for about 18 miles (29 km) north to the hamlet of Millwood, where it ends at a junction with NY 100. The route intersects with Interstate 684 (I-684) and the Saw Mill River Parkway, and serves the Westchester County Airport in North Castle. Portions of the route have been signed ceremonially in remembrance of American serviceman killed in the 2000s and 2010s during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
New York State Route 120A (NY 120A) is a state highway in southern Westchester County, New York, in the United States. It serves as an alternate route to the southern half of NY 120 running along the New York–Connecticut state line. The southern terminus of the route is at NY 120 in Harrison. Its northern terminus is at NY 120 in North Castle. Most of the 8.55-mile (13.76 km) route straddles the New York–Connecticut state line, and part of the route is physically located in Connecticut. However, this part of the highway is not recognized by Connecticut as "Route 120A", and is considered to be part of NY 120A by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).
New York State Route 127 (NY 127) is a 6.36-mile (10.24 km) north–south state highway in Westchester County, New York, in the United States. It begins at an intersection with U.S. Route 1 (US 1) in the village of Mamaroneck and ends at an interchange with Interstate 287 (I-287) in the city of White Plains. The route also connects to the Hutchinson River Parkway in the town of Harrison. NY 127 was assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York; however, parts of the road had been state-maintained since the 1910s. Within White Plains, NY 127 is maintained by Westchester County as County Route 30 (CR 30). The concurrent county route designation is unsigned, as are all county routes in Westchester County.
