Hart Highlands Ski Hill is a small ski area in the Hart Highlands neighbourhood of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. The area has two T-Bars, a rope tow, and features a ski school, rentals and night skiing with 11 machine-groomed runs, and is accessible by the city's bus system. The site is well known to cater for beginners, children, and freestyle skiers. The hill's hours are from 9:00am–9:30pm during week days, transitioning from day to night skiing. They also offer skiing from 9:00am–4:00pm on the weekends.

Forests for the World is a municipal park located in Prince George, British Columbia in the Fraser-Nechako plateau region. It has over 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) of multi-use trails which pass both Small Reflection Lake and Shane Lake. Facilities include fire pits, picnic tables, and a look-out tower. This area has a covered picnic area, and restrooms. The mass of trails connects to a variety of other hiking spots in the area, including the UNBC Greenway, Otway ski trails, and blue spruce trails. The park in full is 106 hectares, and is considered an easy/beginners trail. The forest has a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees, frequent in spruce, douglas fir, and pine.
Horseshoe Resort, formerly Horseshoe Valley Ski Club, is an Ontario ski resort and four season vacation destination. Located north of Barrie, the resort is 110 km north of Toronto. The resort enjoys a long ski season due to snow making abilities. Acquired by Freed Hotels and Resorts in 2021, Horseshoe Resort is spread out over 680 acres (280 ha) of land. The Simon Fraser Bridge is a deck truss bridge on Highway 97, spanning the Fraser River in Prince George, British Columbia. It was originally a two-lane bridge, and was completed in 1963. It carries approximately 22,000 vehicles per day. In 2009, a 50 million dollar project to twin the bridge was completed. The new bridge carrying two lanes of northbound traffic is approximately 390 metres in length, whereas the two lanes of southbound traffic are directed across the original bridge.
The Nazko First Nation is a First Nations government of the Dakelh people in the north-central Interior of British Columbia. Its reserves are located around the community of Nazko, British Columbia, which is 120 km west of Quesnel and southwest of Prince George.
Mount Tabor, 1,247 m (4,091 ft), is a mountain 20 km (12 mi) east of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada adjacent to BC Highway 16. It rises about 550 m (1,804 ft) from the small portion of the Nechako Plateau that lies in the angle of the Fraser River and not part of the Cariboo Mountains which begin just to the east, the summit is the site of a former fire lookout tower and is the highest piece of relief in the Greater Prince George area.
Little Mac Ski Hill, known as Little Mac, is a community-operated ski area adjacent to Mackenzie, British Columbia, Canada in the northern Rocky Mountain Trench. The area has one tow lift and vertical differential of 90 m (295 ft). The longest run is 210 m (689 ft). In addition to downhill skiing, the hill also has areas for tobogganing and snowboarding. The hill itself is connected to John Dahl Regional Park which features groomed cross-country ski trails and eventually connects to the Mackenzie Recreation Centre. In 2021 an outdoor ice rink was opened in the park and was open to members of the public to use. Though not directly part of the ski area, there are an additional 32 km (20 mi) of groomed and lit cross-country ski trails immediately accessible from the town of Mackenzie, with three specially built warming huts.
Murray Ridge Ski Area, also known as Murray Ridge Ski Hill, is a small ski resort located near Fort St. James, British Columbia, Canada. The area has been in operation since the 1976-77 ski season and is managed by the Fort St. James Ski Club. The facilities include a 557 m² day lodge. The area's T-Bar is reputed to be the longest in the world. Development of the area, which began with only two rope-tows, was assisted by Al Raine.
Summit Lake Ski Area is operated by the Nakusp Ski Club Association, a non-profit, volunteer-run society. Located at the lake and community of the same name, 16 km (9.9 mi) east of Nakusp, British Columbia, Canada, in that province's Arrow Lakes-Slocan region. The hill, located at the east end of the lake adjacent to BC Hwy 6 has a T-Bar and rope tow and a daylodge with cafeteria with rentals and lessons. The area features night skiing, snowboarding and a cross-country ski/ snowshoe trail.

Hixon is an unincorporated community 2.48 square kilometres in size at the northern edge of the Cariboo region of the Central Interior region of British Columbia, Canada. It is part of Electoral Area E in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. It is located on the east (left) bank of the Fraser River, and is about midway along BC Highway 97 between the cities of Prince George (N) and Quesnel (S). It was named for Hixon Creek, which in turn is named for a 19th-century prospector in the area, by the name of Joseph Foster Hixon, who found gold here on the banks of the Fraser River back around 1866. As of 2021, it has a population of 239, representing a 13.7 percent decline from 2016.
