Franchise history

The Haryana Gold became one of the UBA's most well-balanced teams in Season 1 on the strength of the league's most prolific backcourt in the first season. Vikas was the league's 6th leading scorer averaging 17.3 points and Birender was the 9th leading scorer as he averaged 16.2 PPG. Haryana finished with a 5–1 record in the regular season.

Panagiotis "Panos" Fasoulas is a Greek politician and former professional basketball player. He was selected in the second round by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1986 NBA draft, but never decided to play in the NBA. Considered to be one of the best big men ever in European basketball, Fasoulas became a FIBA Hall of Fame player in 2016.

Antonello Riva is an Italian former professional basketball player. At 1.96 m (6'5"), he played at the shooting guard and small forward positions. Vassilis Spanoulis Greek professional basketball player

Vassilis "Billy" Spanoulis is a Greek former professional basketball player who spent the majority of his career playing for Greek Basket League and EuroLeague club Olympiacos. A 6 ft 4 in (193 cm) tall combo guard, he is nicknamed Kill Bill, V-Span, and MVP. Tina Alexandria Charles is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Satnam Singh Bhamara is an Indian professional wrestler and former basketball player currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He became the first Indian and Sikh player to be drafted into the National Basketball Association (NBA) when the Dallas Mavericks selected him with the 52nd overall pick of the 2015 NBA draft. Elizabeth Olatayo Williams is a British-born Nigerian-American basketball player for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was the longest standing member of the Atlanta Dream until she signed with the Mystics. After immigrating from Colchester, Essex, England, she played her college career at Duke University. Then, she was drafted by the Connecticut Sun 4th overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft, and was traded to Atlanta after only one year with the Sun.

UBA Pro Basketball League

The United Basketball Alliance (UBA) was the first men’s professional basketball league in India, comprising of eight teams. The UBA was headquartered in Pune and had a city team, Pune Peshwas. The first UBA match was played on 17 July 2015 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad between Bengaluru Beast and Pune Peshwas. The match was won by Pune Peshwas as they pulled out an 88-81 win. This marked the first time a professional basketball league tipped off in India.
