Hatfield is a middle income residential suburb in the south of Harare, Zimbabwe. The suburb was laid out in 1920.
Hatfield was named after the ancestral home of the Marquess of Salisbury. It was first settled on by Robert Snodgrass and David Mitchell, two transport riders who made a fortune selling whisky to newly arrived settlers in 1891. The partnership broke up shortly after another property, a subdivision of the farm, near today's Willowvale, which was given the name of Ardbennie, had been acquired. [1]
William Edward Webb was granted title the nearby area of Prospect in 1894, which later became a residential subdivision, although little is known of his activities. Hatfield takes its name from Hatfield, Hertfordshire. [2]

It is the earliest suburb established in Harare, having been laid out in 1903. Prior to becoming a suburb Avondale was a dairy farm and was named after Avondale, County Wicklow, Ireland the home of the 19th-century Irish politician Charles Stewart Parnell. Avondale was incorporated into Harare Municipality in 1934.
Waterfalls is a residential suburb in the southern region of Harare, Zimbabwe and falls under Harare Ward 23 District. Waterfalls neighbourhoods include Ardbennie, Cheviot, Derbyshire, Grobbie Park, Houghton Park, Induna Park, Mainway Meadows, Malvern, Midlands, Parktown, Prospect, Shortstone and Uplands. The name Waterfalls is a reference to the falls that lead into Mukuvisi River. There are squatted informal settlements around Waterfalls. As of 2013, the biggest squatter zone in Harare was Hopley, next to Waterfalls.

From 1976 to 1979, he also served Deputy Prime Minister of Rhodesia. He continued to serve as Minister of Finance in the government of Zimbabwe Rhodesia in 1979. In 1980, he was appointed Minister of Trade and Commerce of the newly independent Zimbabwe, one of two whites included in the cabinet of Prime Minister Robert Mugabe.

Located in the 'Golden Triangle' of Harare, it is sometimes grouped in the inner east suburbs of Harare along with other suburbs such as Eastlea, Mandara or Greendale.

Belgravia is a mixed use residential suburb in the north of Harare, Zimbabwe. It is named for the eponymous commercial area of Belgravia in London. It is bounded by the larger neighbourhoods of Milton Park, Avondale and Kensington, to the south and northwest respectively, as well as Alexandra Park to the east. The suburb is can be considered a transitionary area between inner city districts like Milton Park and the leafier suburbs to the north.
Arlington is a residential suburb east of Harare, adjacent to Harare International Airport, that began to be developed in the 1990s. While the area is predominantly residential, it has recently witnessed plenty of development, with several luxury developments, due to its proximity to the airport.
Glen Lorne is an affluent neighbourhood in northeast Harare, Zimbabwe. It was originally known as Glen Lorne farm or Enterprise valley, beyond the city limits. It is located north of downtown Harare and is one of highest and hilliest suburbs. It is also one of the wealthiest and most prestigious neighbourhoods in Zimbabwe. Glen Lorne has been ranked the best neighbourhood in the city to live in by the Mail & Guardian. It is known as the area where the city's 'old money' lives, and is home to some of Zimbabwe's wealthiest citizens including former vice president, Kembo Mohadi. It is often compared to its larger and more well-known neighbour, Borrowdale to the northwest.
Chisipite, colloquially known as Chisi is an affluent residential suburb in northeastern Harare, Zimbabwe. It is bordered by Enterprise Road to the north and Eastern road to the east, and Greendale to the south to Lewisam to the west. Begun in the mid 20th century as a planned garden suburb, it did not fully develop until after the Second World War.
