Heart Tuned to D.E.A.D. is the only album by the British indie rock band Switches. It was released in the UK on 23 April 2007. The album was released in the US as Lay Down the Law on March 18, 2008, with the omission of "Give Up the Ghost".The title is a possible reference to the Super Furry Animals song "Bass Tuned to D.E.A.D".

Snakes and ladders, known originally as Moksha Patam, is an ancient Indian board game for two or more players regarded today as a worldwide classic. It is played on a game board with numbered, gridded squares. A number of "ladders" and "snakes" are pictured on the board, each connecting two specific board squares. The object of the game is to navigate one's game piece, according to die rolls, from the start to the finish, helped by climbing ladders but hindered by falling down snakes.

He is credited with bringing the genre into mainstream success, producing Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 singles "Get Low", "Goodies", "Cyclone", "Freek-a-Leek", and "Yeah!". "Yeah!" won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Performance. Lil Jon is also a frequent collaborator with friend and fellow rapper Pitbull. In 2013, Lil Jon collaborated with DJ Snake and released the electronic dance music multi-platinum hit, "Turn Down for What", that won Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Song. The music video for the single, released in 2014, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Music Video, and has been viewed over 1 billion times on YouTube as of September 2021. As of 2016, Lil Jon is listed as one of the Top Billboard Music Award Winners of All Time. In 2019, Lil Jon achieved his 8th number 1 on Billboard's Rhythmic Chart as a songwriter on the song "My Type" by Sacramento rapper Saweetie.

Starflyer 59 is an American alternative rock band from Riverside, California that was founded in 1993 by Jason Martin, brother of Ronnie Martin of Joy Electric. While Jason Martin has written nearly all of Starflyer 59's songs, the band has included a number of different musicians over the years, including Jeff Cloud, Frank Lenz, and Richard Swift. The band's sound was initially identified as an outgrowth of the shoegaze movement of the early 1990s, but the band's music has gradually evolved to the point of little resemblance to that of its early days.

The song includes a feature from GOOD Music president Pusha T. It was produced by West, while co-produced by Mike Dean and Benny Blanco, with additional production from Plain Pat, Evan Mast, Justin Vernon, Francis and the Lights, Cashmere Cat, and Noah Goldstein. Recording for the song was finished less than 10 hours before the album's release, with Pusha T's vocals being recorded during this time period. An industrial song, it features drums and synths. The song includes West scatting in a manner that was compared to his performance on "Lift Yourself", while Pusha T raps the sole verse and Kid Cudi sings a chorus about love.
