Heat Fetish is the fourth and final studio album released by American hardcore band The Bled. The album is their first release through Rise Records after parting ways with Vagrant Records in 2009. [3] Heat Fetish was released on March 9, 2010.
Following the tours in support of The Bled's 2007 studio album, Silent Treatment , the band announced that they would take a break from touring. Several members found themselves in debt after this choice, which forced members to take day jobs or temporarily join other bands. [4] Ultimately, founding members Ross Ott and Mike Pedicone, in addition to bassist Darren Simoes who joined the band in 2004, chose to leave The Bled leaving only vocalist James Muñoz and guitarist Jeremy Talley. Muñoz and Talley wanted to "rock by any means necessary," and continue releasing music as The Bled. [5] The former members were replaced by guitarist Robbie Burbidge, bassist Brad Murray and drummer Josh Skibar.
Prior to joining the band, Burbidge, Murray and Skibar were fans of The Bled. The new members brought an outside perspective of what fans like about the band to the writing process. [6]

Econoline Crush is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 1992. They have released five studio albums and are known for their charting singles such as "You Don't Know What It's Like", "Home", "Surefire ", "All That You Are (X3)", "Make It Right", and "Dirty". They achieved platinum status with the 1997 album The Devil You Know and also received two Juno nominations, in 1995 and 1998.
Stone Carpenter Gossard is an American musician who serves as a guitarist and co-lyricist for the American rock band Pearl Jam. Along with Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder, he is one of the founding members of the band.
Stone Sour is an American rock band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1992. The band performed for five years before disbanding in 1997. The Bled is a self-titled EP by hardcore band The Bled. Its four songs were pressed on one-sided 12" vinyl, released in 2002 by Ambit Records. It was a small DIY release, without much marketing attempt. Production was limited to only 666 copies, 100 of which were on translucent blood-red vinyl. The other remaining 566 were pressed on black vinyl, and placed into black or white sleeves. The album art was sprayed on and the numbers handwritten. It was recorded before current singer James Munoz joined the band.

The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza was an American mathcore band from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The band was founded in Monroe, Louisiana by members Layne Meylain, Mason Crooks, Brad Thompson, and Mike Butler. They relocated to Murfreesboro, TN to look for a frontman and found Jessie Freeland.
Chimaira was an American heavy metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in August 1998, the group was a member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal scene. The band's name is derived from the word Chimera, a monstrous creature in Greek mythology. Throughout its history, the band had numerous line-up changes, leaving vocalist Mark Hunter as the only constant member. The band dissolved in 2014, but announced a one-off reunion in late 2017 wherein most of the group's longtime members rejoined.
