Heidi Kofod Jensen (born 14 August 1966) is a retired Danish athlete who specialised in the middle-distance events. [1] She represented her country at three consecutive World Championships, starting in 1999, her best outing being the 2003 edition where she reached the semifinals.
She currently holds two national records, in the outdoor 1500 metres and the indoor 800 metres.

Lidia Chojecka-Leandro is a retired Polish middle- and long-distance runner who mainly competed in the 1500 metres and 3000 metres. She won bronze medals in the 1500 m at the 1997 and 1999 World Indoor Championships, and for the 3000 m at the 2006 World Indoor Championships. Chojecka is a six-time European Indoor Championships medallist in the 1500 m and 3000 m events, earning three golds and three silvers. She took the double at the 2007 European Indoor Championships, becoming the first runner, male or female, to win both events at the same championships. She had been one of the most consistent middle-distance runners in Europe throughout the 1990s, and finished fifth and sixth in back-to-back Olympic 1500 m finals in 2000 and 2004.
Adam Piotr Kszczot is a retired Polish middle-distance runner who specialised in the 800 metres. His achievements include silver medals at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships in Athletics, gold at the 2018 World Indoor Championships as well as silver and bronze at the 2014 and 2010 World Indoor Championships respectively. Kszczot won three gold medals in the 800 m at both the European Outdoor and Indoor Championships. He twice competed at the Olympic Games, in 2012 and 2016, narrowly missing the final on both occasions.
Betlhem Desalegn Belayneh is an Ethiopian-born Emirati middle-distance runner. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 1500 metres.
Laura Muir is a Scottish middle- and long-distance runner. She is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic silver medallist in the 1500 metres, having previously finished seventh in the event at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Muir won the bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships, and has three other top five placings in 1500 m finals at the World Athletics Championships, finishing fifth in 2015, fourth in 2017 and fifth in 2019. She is a two-time European 1500 m champion from 2018 and 2022 as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games 1500 m champion and 800 metres bronze medallist.
Miho Sato is a retired Japanese athlete specialising in middle-distance events. From Ise, Mie, she competed in the 800 metres at the 2004 Summer Olympics without reaching the semifinals.
Malin Ewerlöf-Krepp is retired Swedish athlete who competed in the middle-distance events. She represented her country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in both 800 and 1500 metres, reaching semifinals in the latter. She won the 800 metres silver medal at the 1998 European Championships.
Kathleen Friedrich is a German former middle-distance runner who specialised in the 1500 metres. She has a personal best of 4 minutes 4.27 seconds, as well as an 800 metres best of 2:01.45.
Sofia Ennaoui is a Polish middle-distance runner who specialises in the 1500 metres. She finished fifth in the event at the 2022 World Athletics Championships as the second non-African woman. Ennaoui won the silver medal at the 2018 European Championships, and a bronze at the 2022 European Championships. At the European Indoor Championships, she earned bronze in 2017, silver in 2019 and bronze in 2023. She took two individual age-group medals at the European Cross Country Championships.
Natalia Evangelidou is a Cypriot middle-distance runner competing primarily in the 800 metres. She represented her country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games without qualifying from the heats. In addition, she won several medals at the Games of the Small States of Europe.
Charline Kyra Mathias is a Luxembourgian middle-distance runner competing primarily in the 800 metres. She represented her country at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing without advancing from the first round.

Gabriela Maria DeBues-Stafford is a Canadian middle- and long-distance runner. A two-time Olympian, she placed fifth in the women's 1500 metres at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. DeBues-Stafford holds the NACAC area record over the indoor 5000 metres, which she set in February 2022.
