Hello I Feel the Same is the tenth studio album by American alternative band The Innocence Mission. It was released on October 16, 2015, via Korda Records, a cooperative record label founded by The Ocean Blue, a band with whom the Innocence Mission formed a "long and deep friendship that goes back to some of each band's first shows in Pennsylvania and their major label debut records on Sire and A&M". [1] [2] An edition on translucent green vinyl was released from early January 2016. It is their first studio album since 2010's My Room in the Trees , making five years the longest gap between studio albums in their career. [3]
To promote the album, The Innocence Mission embarked on their first live shows since 2004, [4] performing as the opening act on select dates of a tour by The Ocean Blue. [5] The band also performed a live session for WXPN's Key Studios. [6] In February 2016, they performed a 40-minute set at the Roots & Blues music festival held at The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. [7] An outtake from the My Room in the Trees sessions, "Trip", was released as a non-album single in July 2016, and features the band's original drummer, Steve Brown. [8]

The Jayhawks are an American alternative country and country rock band that emerged from the Twin Cities music scene in the mid-1980s. Led by vocalists/guitarists/songwriters Gary Louris and Mark Olson, their country rock sound was influential on many bands who played the Twin Cities circuit during the 1980s and 1990s, such as Uncle Tupelo, the Gear Daddies and the Honeydogs. They have released eleven studio albums, with and without Olson, including five on the American Recordings label. After going on hiatus from 2005 to 2009, the 1995 lineup of the band reunited and released the album Mockingbird Time in September 2011; Olson left the band for the second time after the tour to promote the album. After another hiatus in 2013, the 1997 lineup led by Louris reunited to play shows in 2014 to support the reissue of three albums originally released between 1997 and 2003. Since then, the band has continued to tour and record, releasing the albums Live at The Belly Up in 2015; Paging Mr. Proust, co-produced by Peter Buck, in 2016; Back Roads and Abandoned Motels in 2018; and XOXO in 2020.
