Hi, How Are You is a third-person platform game that is based on the art and music of Daniel Johnston. It was developed by Peter Franco and Stephen Broumley of Dr Fun Fun and Smashing Studios for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Players control Jeremiah the frog and navigate platform mazes in order to win back his true love from Satan.
In Hi, How Are You, the player takes the control over Jeremiah the Innocent. He is based on a character from the Johnston's mural on the University of Texas campus. [1] At first, he starts off as a human but is changed into a frog by Satan. [2]
The main goal is to direct Jeremiah along the path by tilting the device without falling off. [3] To complete a level, all green blocks must be touched before proceeding to the exit. In order to earn a silver trophy, the player must touch all the green blocks and red blocks or all the green blocks and beat the clock. In order to earn a gold trophy, the player must touch all green blocks, all red blocks and beat the clock. There are numerous obstacles and enemies that challenge the player in each level. The game also makes use of the device's accelerometer to control the characters. [4]

Hi, How Are You was featured in The New York Times on September 28, 2009 [8] and was described as "a psycho-religious version of Frogger ". Pocket Gamer stated that "Hi, How Are You sets a new iPhone benchmark aesthetically". [5] The soundtrack, consisting of several songs by Johnston, was praised by Slide to Play, noting that it adds to the game's tone. [6]
Daniel Dale Johnston was an American singer, musician and artist regarded as a significant figure in outsider, lo-fi, and alternative music scenes. Most of his work consisted of cassettes recorded alone in his home, and his music was frequently cited for its "pure" and "childlike" qualities.
Collapse! is a series of tile-matching puzzle video games by GameHouse, a software company in Seattle, Washington. In 2007, Super Collapse! 3 became the first game to win the Game of the Year at the inaugural Zeebys. In 2013, the game was also released for Android. A sequel, Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon, was released in August 2015 for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.

Survivalcraft is a 2011 open sandbox video game developed by Marcin Igor Kalicinski under the brand Candy Rufus Games. Following early test versions, it was released on 16 November 2011 for the Windows Phone, and is also available for Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows. The game is set on a deserted island in an open world, where the player collects resources and items that can be made into survival tools. The game has six different game modes: Survival, Challenging, Cruel, Harmless, Adventure, and Creative. of which the first four involve the player gathering necessary resources to stay alive. The Creative mode gives the player unlimited items and health. And the Adventure mode is used for quest maps and parkours.
Mirror's Edge is a side-scrolling platform game developed by IronMonkey Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for iPad and iPhone in 2010, and for Windows Phone in 2012. The game is a prequel to the original Mirror's Edge, setting the scene about Runners and the city's shady corporations. It received very positive reviews from critics.
Kamibox is an independent German video game developer founded by Philipp Stollenmayer. Stollenmayer is the sole employee of the company, which creates almost exclusively mobile games. Some of Kamibox's games have received awards for their design, including an Apple Design Award. Kamibox games often have a philosophical element to them, such as see/saw and Sometimes You Die, which explore the concept of death in video games.
