Mahou made his professional debut for Nice in a 3–3 Ligue 1 draw against Lyon on 20 May 2017. [3] In January 2020, he was loaned to Red Star until the end of the 2019–20 season. [4]

The 2009–10 Ligue 1 season was the 72nd since its establishment. Bordeaux were the defending champions. The fixtures were announced on 5 June 2009, and play commenced on 8 August and ended on 15 May 2010.
