Hinesight (Songs from the Journey) is a studio album released by Australian recording artist Marcia Hines. It was released in September 2004 through BMG Australia and includes a duet with Belinda Emmett. It peaked at No. 12 on the Australian albums chart.
In 2003, Hines joined the panel as a judge on the inaugural season of Australian Idol . This gained new notoriety and interest in her music. [1] Hines signed a contract to release an album through BMG Australia (the same label as the winners of Australian Idol) and she recorded a diverse collection of covers. The album was produced by Idol musical director, John Foreman. [2]
Hines performed the first and only single "Ain't Nobody" live on the Australian Idol finale on the 21 November 2004. [3]

Australian Idol is an Australian singing competition, which began its first season in July 2003 and ended its run in November 2009. As part of the Idol franchise, Australian Idol originated from the reality program Pop Idol, which was created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller. Australian Idol was televised on Network Ten for all seven series and was broadcast on the Southern Cross Austereo Radio Network between 2005 and 2007.
Marcia Elaine Hines, AM, is an American-Australian vocalist, actress and TV personality. Hines made her debut, at the age of 16, in the Australian production of the stage musical Hair and followed with the role of Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar. She achieved her greatest commercial successes as a recording artist during the late 1970s with several hit singles, including cover versions of "Fire and Rain", "I Just Don't Know What to Do with Myself", "You" and "Something's Missing "; and her Top Ten albums Marcia Shines, Shining and Ladies and Gentlemen. Hines was voted "Queen of Pop" by TV Week's readers for three consecutive years from 1976.

"Ain't Nobody" is a song by American funk band Rufus and American singer Chaka Khan. It was released on November 4, 1983, as a bonus track for their live album Stompin' at the Savoy (1983). "Ain't Nobody" quickly gathered popularity, and reached number one on the US Billboard R&B chart and number 22 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It has become one of Khan's signature songs.
The Winner's Journey is a live album and DVD based on Australian Idol 2006 winner Damien Leith's performances on the show. The full-length album features remastered versions of Leith's live performances from the show, along with the studio version of his debut single "Night of My Life" and two of his original tracks, "Come to Me" and "Sky".
