The Canada national rugby union team represents Canada in men's international rugby union and it is governed by Rugby Canada, and play in red and white. Canada is classified by World Rugby as a tier two rugby nation. Canada competes in competitions such as the Americas Rugby Championship and the Rugby World Cup.
The first rugby union match between England and France was held on 22 March 1906 at Parc des Princes in Paris.
The national rugby union teams of England and Argentina have been playing each other since 1978. The status of the first match is ambiguous, as Argentina awarded Test caps to its players but England did not.
The All Blacks first played against Italy at the opening game of the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987, beating them 70-6 at Eden Park, Auckland. The two teams have played a total of fifteen Test matches recognized by both sides as full internationals, with New Zealand winning all of them by an average margin of 51 points. The two sides have been in the same pool in five of the eight Rugby World Cup tournaments to date but have only played each other four times because Typhoon Hagibis caused their scheduled meeting in the 2019 tournament to be cancelled. The first 11 meetings between the two sides since their first clash in 1987 were never played at the same venue, then two tests had been held back to back at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
New Zealand and Argentina have been playing each other in the sport of rugby union since 1976.
The history of rugby union matches between Argentina and Ireland is one of a very even contest. As of October 2015, the sides have met twenty one times with a result of twelve wins to Ireland, eight to Argentina and one drawn game, however, five of these matches were not a fully test capped match for Ireland. At the end of the 2010 Autumn Internationals there was only a nineteen-point difference in cumulative points scored. The largest winning margin of 23 points was recorded in the meeting of their 2015 Rugby World Cup quarter-final, when Argentina won by 43 points to 20. However, Argentina have yet to beat Ireland on Irish soil, and Ireland have only won twice in Argentina. Ireland's first win against Argentina was in 1952, however it was only a capped match for Argentina. Ireland's first fully test capped match win in Argentina came in 2014.

France and Wales have played each other at rugby union since 1908. A total of 100 matches have been played, with Wales winning 51 times, France 46 times and the remaining three finishing as draws.

They have played each other nine times, five times in the United States and three times in Ireland. The other match was at a neutral venue in New Zealand in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Ireland and the US also played each other in the 1999 Rugby World Cup but the fixture was played at Ireland's home ground. Ireland have won all nine matches played between the teams.
France and the United States have played each other a total of 8 times, with France winning 6 of the matches, and the United States winning 2. They first played each other in 1920 at Olympisch Stadion in Antwerp, Belgium during the 1920 Summer Olympics final. The United States won the match 8-0.
