Hockey Nunavut is the governing body for ice hockey in Nunavut, Canada. It operates under Hockey North, a branch of Hockey Canada.
Nunavut participates in both the male and female hockey categories in the Arctic Winter Games.
Typically, Hockey Nunavut send two male teams (bantam and midget) and one female team (junior). For the 2016 Arctic Winter Games in Nuuk, Greenland, only bantam male hockey and junior female hockey will take place. Due to a lack of facilities in Nuuk, these events will be hosted by the city of Iqaluit, Nunavut in March 2016.
Junior teams in Nunavut play off for the Nunavut Challenge Cup. The winners earn the right to represent Nunavut in the Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championship.
Funding from Hockey Nunavut ended for the tournament in 2018. [1]

Kivalliq Canucks were the first-ever Hockey North team to reach the MHNJC final in 2012. After dropping their first two round robin games the Canucks defeated the Hampton Hurricanes and Tignish Aces to earn a spot in the semifinals. With a 3-1 victory over Pownal Red Devils the team advanced to the gold medal game where they came up short losing to Chester Clippers 7-3.
In 2015 the Baffin Blizzard became the first Hockey North team to capture the championship. Baffin went 2-2-0 in the round robin before defeating Western Valley Panthers 3-1 in the semifinal. The Blizzard went on to defeat South Side Lynx in the championship game 6-5. [4]

Sean Burke is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender and the current director of goaltending for the Vegas Golden Knights, with whom he won the Stanley Cup with in 2023. He played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New Jersey Devils, Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Florida Panthers, Phoenix Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Los Angeles Kings between 1988 and 2007. He was born in Windsor, Ontario, but grew up in Toronto, Ontario.
The Estevan Bruins are a junior ice hockey team playing in the Junior "A" Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). The team is based in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada, and plays at Affinity Place. They were founded in 1971, when a previous franchise called the Estevan Bruins, which played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League from 1957 to 1966 and then the Major Junior Western Hockey League (WHL) from 1966 to 1971, relocated to New Westminster, British Columbia; that franchise is today known as the Kamloops Blazers.

The team is owned by two local businessmen and brothers Salman Safdar Dhillon and Usman Tahir Dhillon. Blizzard games are broadcast on local radio station CJAR 102.9 FM and can also be heard online at www.thepasonline.com.

The Wellington Dukes are a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Wellington, Ontario, Canada. They are in the Eastern Division of the Ontario Junior Hockey League and used to be a part of the Metro Junior A Hockey League. Originally a Junior C team in the 1970s and 1980s, the Dukes merged with the neighbouring Jr. B Belleville Bobcats and took their place in the Metro League. The Dukes have won the Dudley Hewitt Cup as Central Canadian Junior A Champions twice. The Dukes won the Buckland Cup on April 22, 2018.

The Red Deer Rustlers were a Junior A ice hockey team in the Alberta Junior Hockey League based in Red Deer, Alberta. They captured the inaugural Centennial Trophy in 1971. Their eight AJHL championships remains the second most in league history, behind the Calgary Canucks nine championships.
The El Paso Rhinos are a junior ice hockey organization based in El Paso, Texas. Their home games are played at the County Events Center located within the El Paso County Coliseum complex. The Rhinos are members of the Tier II junior North American Hockey League (NAHL) after adding the team as an expansion franchise in 2021. The organization also has a Tier III team that was originally a member of the Amateur Athletic Union-sanctioned Western States Hockey League from 2006 to 2020 before joining the North American 3 Hockey League for the 2020–21 season.

The South Side Lynx are a Canadian Junior C ice hockey team based in Crapaud, Prince Edward Island. They are members of the Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League. They are coached by Paul Dawson and play out of the South Shore Actiplex. The Lynx have won the Razzy's PEI Junior C league title on three occasions in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The North Iowa Bulls are a Tier II junior ice hockey team in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). They play their home games at the Mason City Multipurpose Arena in Mason City, Iowa. The organization also operates a Tier III junior team in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) that was known as the North Iowa Bulls from 2011 to 2021 before relocating the Tier II Amarillo Bulls' franchise to Mason City and rebranding the Tier III team as the Mason City Toros. The Bulls are coached by Todd Sanden, who has been with the North Iowa team since its inception in 2011.
