The Honda H100S is a two-stroke motorcycle introduced in June 1983, alongside the original Honda H100-A, which was released to the UK in February 1980. The H100-A was built for fulfilling the role of an economical, practical, lightweight commuter machine. It was designed for riders who preferred the simplicity of the two-stroke engine. In Honda style, equipment such as a fully enclosed chain, capacitor discharge electronic ignition (CDI), and a separate oil injection system allowed easy operation of the motorcycle with the minimum of maintenance and attention. The lowly-tuned engine gives adequate performance for use in normal traffic conditions, but does not consume high amounts of fuel. Under normal operating conditions, mileage to the gallon figures regularly exceed 80, often close to 100, impressive for a two-stroke and not far off Honda's own four-stroke commuting machines.[ citation needed ] The engine uses a reed-valve induction system, and the vibration inherent in single cylinder engines is largely cancelled out by the single shaft primary balancer.
A two-strokeengine is a type of internal combustion engine which completes a power cycle with two strokes of the piston during only one crankshaft revolution. This is in contrast to a "four-stroke engine", which requires four strokes of the piston to complete a power cycle during two crankshaft revolutions. In a two-stroke engine, the end of the combustion stroke and the beginning of the compression stroke happen simultaneously, with the intake and exhaust functions occurring at the same time.

Capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) or thyristor ignition is a type of automotive electronic ignition system which is widely used in outboard motors, motorcycles, lawn mowers, chainsaws, small engines, turbine-powered aircraft, and some cars. It was originally developed to overcome the long charging times associated with high inductance coils used in inductive discharge ignition (IDI) systems, making the ignition system more suitable for high engine speeds. The capacitive-discharge ignition uses capacitor discharge current to the coil to fire the spark plugs.
The H100-S was introduced alongside the H100-A which continued in production until stocks were exhausted. The H100-S is a heavily revised version of the original, losing some of its more practical features as a result. This was felt necessary to give it a wider appeal. The oil tank was moved from being part of the fuel tank to behind the right hand side panel, the final drive chain casing was relieved for a sleeker, chrome plated top cover, the clocks were made separate from the headlight to allow for a new tachometer, and, strangely, the CDI ignition system was replaced by a contact breaker system (points).
March 1986 saw a largely cosmetic reworking of the H100-S, to form the H100-SII. This model received bolted-on frame down tubes which gave the appearance of a conventional cradle-frame motorcycle. The ignition system was reverted to CDI, and all other changes were in terms of paint and graphics.
Production of the H100-SII ended in 1992.

The Honda XR series is a range of four-stroke off-road motorcycles that were designed in Japan but assembled all over the world.
The Honda VFR400 series of motorcycles were a related series of 399 cc V4-engined motorcycles, which were essentially scaled-down versions of the larger VFR race models of the day. They were mainly developed for, and sold in, the Japanese domestic market, in part due to the tougher motorcycle drivers' license restrictions in Japan at the time for bike exceeding 400cc.

The Honda CG125 is a commuter motorcycle that was made by Honda of Japan. It was in production from 1976 to 2008 and was originally manufactured in Japan, but source for European market was eventually moved to Brazil in 1985 and also Turkey for the W and M models. The CG125 is powered by a 124 cc (7.6 cu in) four-stroke, overhead valve, single-cylinder engine that has changed little over the years.
The Honda Express or Honda NC50 is a scooter made by Honda between 1977 and 1983. Variants include the Express, Express II, Express SR and Urban Express. All versions of the Express line are powered by an air-cooled 49 cc (3.0 cu in) two-stroke engine.
Honda introduced several 200 cc motorcycles with similar engines but different body variations in the 1980s. The model introduced in South Africa and Pakistan was known as the CD200 RoadMaster. It had a twin cylinder 10-degree cylinder angle with a 360-degree crank shaft angle engine which meant the pistons moved together and reached top dead centre (TDC) and bottom dead centre (BDC) at the same time. It was a detuned version of the Honda CD185 twin. The engine had the same bore as the CD185 but low compression pistons (8.8:1) with a bore and stroke of 53.0 mm × 44.0 mm, compared to 9.0:1 Compression and 53.0 mm × 41.0 mm for the CD185. The result was less power, a higher fuel economy and a lower top speed. The alternator system was also different from the CD185. Apart from this the models were much similar, using the same frames, suspension, wheels, tyres, and brakes.
The Honda CD175 is a 174 cc (10.6 cu in) motorcycle made from 1967 to 1979 by the Honda Motor Company. Described by Honda as a "great new all-rounder, at home around town or putting the highway behind you", it was the touring model in Honda's 175 cc motorcycle lineup that also included the sportier CB175 and the off-road CL175 version. The CD175 shared some components and design elements in common with other models from Honda including the early-model pressed steel backbone frame, sometimes known as "T bone".

The Kawasaki triples were a range of 250 to 750 cc motorcycles made by Kawasaki from 1968 to 1980. The engines were air-cooled, three-cylinder, piston-controlled inlet port two-strokes with two exhaust pipes exiting on the right side of the bike, and one on the left. It was the first production street motorcycle with capacitor discharge ignition (CDI). Right from the first triple model, the 1968 Mach III H1 500 cc, it was a sales success that gained a reputation for almost unmatched acceleration as well as an air of danger for inexperienced riders trying to cope with the bike's increased power to weight ratio over any previously available stock motorcycles.

The Honda CD250 is a 233 cc (14.2 cu in), air-cooled, four stroke, upright twin motorcycle which was retailed by Honda in the UK from 1988 to 1993. It has a single front disc brake and a rear drum. It has two into two exhausts, together with electric starting and capacitor discharge electronic (CDI) ignition.
The Yamaha Libero G5 is a 106 cc, single-cylinder four-stroke motorcycle from India Yamaha Motor. Its predecessor was known as just Yamaha Libero. Unlike Libero G5, Libero had tachometer and round headlights but lacked fuel gauge. However, Libero G5 came with a sporty headlight and fuel gauge, but lacked the tachometer. A new set of air scoops with a honeycomb grille do dual duty; directing airflow over the engine block and also neatly covering the gap between the engine and the fuel tank. The Libero G5’s frame continues to be the tubular dual-cradle type.
