The Honda TMX or Tricycle Model Xtreme series is a line of motorcycles manufactured by Honda Motors Philippines since 1976. Produced for the Philippine market, it was designed for utility and tricycle use.
The original Honda TMX line started production in 1976 as the Honda TM 110, a heavy-duty derivative of the Honda S110 designed for tricycle use. In 1981, a more powerful version, TMX 155, was also launched. The TMX 155 is a 155.3 cc four-stroke, OHV, air-cooled engine. It had a 4-down manual transmission and a primary kickstarter. The TMX 155 originally had contact point ignition, but was later changed to a magneto AC-CDI ignition in the later versions during its production time. A telescopic fork front suspension and twin rear suspension cushion the bumps on the road. In 1988, the TM 110 evolved into the TMS 110 Super, which became the TMS 125 later on. By 2003, the TMS 125 was redesigned and renamed to the TMX 125. [1] Both the smaller displacement 125cc model and the bigger displacement 155cc model was discontinued in 2014 due to tightening emissions standards, with the final TMX 155 unit being painted in gold and with commemorative decals. The TMX 125 Alpha (stylized as TMX 125α) was launched in 2014 as a successor of the TMX 125. The motorcycle is essentially a rebadged Honda CG125 . The TMX Alpha features a 124.11 cc four stroke, air-cooled OHV engine mated to a five-speed transmission instead of four, and it is started by an electric starter and a kick starter with decompression function.
The instrument panel features an analog tachometer with gear indicator which is absent in the older TMX 155. A bar-mounted kill switch and passing light switch (removed in later models) is added for safety, plus, new bar end weights were installed to lessen engine vibration. The 18-inch tires give the TMX 125 Alpha a taller stance, enabling it to adapt to various road conditions. [3]
In 2021, the Honda TMX 125 Alpha received a major design overhaul, now featuring a matte silver color as the primary color scheme and lesser decals due to the popularity of the model as a base for Café racer and Scrambler bike builds, as well as a smaller rear wheel sprocket for daily commuting. [4] Another notable change is the removal of the headlight switch, due to a house bill which mandates that all new motorcycles must have the headlights turned on upon startup. [5]
The Honda TMX Supremo 150 was launched in 2012 as a direct successor of the TMX 155. Like its 125cc counterpart, it is also rebadged from another Honda motorcycle model overseas, the Honda GL150. The new model now features a modern design to appeal newer generation of riders. The fuel tank was completely overhauled and is complemented by an elegant decal design and a new Dual Flat seat. The side cover has been improved and made more durable with the application of Polypropylene plastic (PP) material with security lock. In addition, it is now equipped with a factory installed 3-point side-car attachment.
The 150cc engine maintains its fuel efficiency up to 62km/L and is equipped with an electric starter with choke control located on the handle bar makes it easier for engine starting. It also has an illuminated meter panel that includes tachometer with gear shift indicator, and it is also equipped with a key shutter and an integrated handlebar lock to deter theft. [6]
The TMX Supremo has undergone three generations since its introduction in 2012. [7]
The Honda Magna is a cruiser motorcycle made from 1982 to 1988 and 1994 to 2003 and was the second Honda to use their new V4 engine shared with the VF750S Sabre and a few years later a related engine was fitted to the VF750F 'Interceptor', the later models used a retuned engine from the VFR750F with fins added to the outside of the engine. The engine technology and layout was a descendant of Honda's racing V4 machines, such as the NS750 and NR750. The introduction of this engine on the Magna and the Sabre in 1982, was a milestone in the evolution of motorcycles that would culminate in 1983 with the introduction of the Interceptor V4. The V45's performance is comparable to that of Valkyries and Honda's 1800 cc V-twin cruisers. However, its mix of performance, reliability, and refinement was overshadowed by the more powerful 1,098 cc "V65" Magna in 1983.
The Honda XR series is a range of four-stroke off-road motorcycles that were designed in Japan but assembled all over the world.
The Honda VFR400 series of motorcycles were a related series of 399 cc V4-engined motorcycles, which were essentially scaled-down versions of the larger VFR race models of the day. They were mainly developed for, and sold in, the Japanese domestic market, in part due to the tougher motorcycle drivers' license restrictions in Japan at the time for motorcycles with displacement exceeding 400cc.

The Honda CM400 is a street bike produced by the Honda Motor Company from 1979 to 1982, part of a series of motorcycles with the prefix 'CM' using various engine capacities. It was a precursor to the Honda Rebel series of motorcycles. It was equipped with electric start and electronic ignition. Models included the CM400A, CM400C (Custom), CM400E (Economy) and CM400T (Touring). The CM400C was produced only in 1981, making it one of the rarer models.
The Honda CG125 or Honda CG is a commuter motorcycle made by Honda of Japan. It was in production from 1976 to 2008 in Japan and has been in production since 1992 in Pakistan. The CG was originally manufactured in Japan, but the source for the European market was eventually moved to Brazil in 1985, and to Pakistan and Turkey in 1992 for the W and M models. The CG125 is powered by a 124 cc (7.6 cu in) four-stroke, overhead valve, single-cylinder engine that has changed little over the years.
The Hero Splendor is an entry-level motorcycle manufactured in India by Hero Honda. After Separation of Joint venture of Hero Honda, Now it is manufactured by Hero MotoCorp. It has an electronic ignition and a tubular double cradle type frame with a 97.2 cc (5.93 cu in) engine. The engine is based on the Honda Cub C100EX with a similar bore and stroke of 50 mm × 49.5 mm. As of 2009, Splendor models were selling at a rate of one million units per year.
The Honda XL125V Varadero is a dual-sport motorcycle with a 125 cc four stroke V-twin engine, produced by Honda from 2001 to 2015.
The Honda CB125 is a 122 cc (7.4 cu in) motorcycle made by Honda from 1971–1985. It had a single-cylinder overhead camshaft (OHC) engine with a 9500 rpm redline. The "S" model was produced from 1971 to 1975 and was replaced in 1976 by the "J" model. The newer model sported a two piece head, 124 cc (7.6 cu in) displacement, and a larger carburettor.
The Honda Ascot is a name given to two motorcycles produced by Honda in the early 1980s. The motorcycles, the FT500 and VT500FT, were produced with the Ascot name between 1982 and 1984 as part of the Honda VT500- engine series.
The Honda XL175 was a motorcycle produced by Honda. The XL175 first entered the market in 1973 as a lightweight dual-sport motorcycle, and the model continued in production through 1978. The XL175 had a 173cc single cylinder OHC four-stroke engine mated to a 5-speed transmission and was started via a kickstarter only. The gauges included a speedometer and a tachometer up until 1976, when the tachometer was deleted for that and subsequent years. Braking was via front and rear cable operated drum brakes. The dimensions of the bike were 2,075x840x1,095mm (82x33x43in).
Yamaha Libero G5 is a 106 cc, single-cylinder four-stroke motorcycle manufactured by India Yamaha Motor. Its predecessor was known as just Yamaha Libero. Unlike Libero G5, Libero had tachometer and round headlights but lacked fuel gauge. However, Libero G5 came with a sporty headlight and fuel gauge, but lacked the tachometer. A new set of air scoops with a honeycomb grille do dual duty; directing airflow over the engine block and also neatly covering the gap between the engine and the fuel tank. The Libero G5's frame continues to be the tubular dual-cradle type.
The Yamaha XJR4004HM is a motorcycle manufactured by Yamaha. It is a sports naked bike with a maximum power output of 53ps at 11,000RPM. The XJR400 was built from 1993 until it was discontinued in 2007 due to stricter emissions regulation.

Yamaha RS-100T Torque induction series, also known as RS-100 series, is a series of two-stroke motorcycle models manufactured by Yamaha Motors Co. Ltd as a successor of the Philippines' most popular 2T motorcycle/tricycle model. It debuted in 1977 especially for the Asian market. While the older Yamaha RS-100 uses a pressed steel frame that also acts as the main body, the RS-100T uses steel tubes for the frames and metal cover sets for the body.

The Honda CB400 Super Four is a CB series 399 cc (24.3 cu in) standard motorcycle produced by Honda at the Kumamoto plant from 1992 to the present. The CB400 embodies the typical Universal Japanese Motorcycle produced through the 1970s, updated with modern technology. To this end, the bike has a naked retro design, paired with a smooth inline-four engine. Originally a Japan-only bike, it was later also available in SE Asia, and from 2008 in Australia.

These twins took their styling and design cues from the larger-displacement Honda C71, C76, C72, C77 Dream series.
