Hope Torture is the debut single album of South Korean singer Song Ji-eun, a member of South Korean girl group Secret. The album was released on September 30, 2013 with the song "Hope Torture" serving as the lead track. The album contains three songs. [1] It also contains the first song Jieun helped write and compose for in Date Mate.
On September 24, Jieun released her mv teaser. On September 29, Jieun released the whole mv. On September 30, Jieun released the whole album.
Song Jieun promoted the single Hope Torture (False Hope) in music shows in September and October 2013 on KBS's Music Bank , MBC's Show! Music Core , SBS's Inkigayo and Mnet's M! Countdown . She also held a MelOn showcase on the day of her album release where she also sang Vintage with B.A.P's Zelo. [2]

Lee Ji-eun, also known by her stage name IU (Korean: 아이유), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) Lost and Found (2008). Although her follow-up albums, Growing Up and IU...IM, brought mainstream success, it was only after the release of "Good Day", the lead single from her 2010 album Real, that she achieved national stardom. "Good Day" went on to spend five consecutive weeks at the top of South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, and in 2019, it was ranked number one on Billboard's "100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s" list.
Secret (Korean: 시크릿) was a South Korean K-pop girl group formed by TS Entertainment in 2009. The group originally debuted with four members: Jun Hyo-seong, Jung Ha-na, Song Ji-eun and Han Sun-hwa. They released their debut single I Want You Back October 2009. Secret's debut single did not meet great success and it was not until the following year that the group saw a rise in popularity. In 2010, Secret released two singles Magic and Madonna which earned much attention with both singles peaking at No. 2 and No. 1 respectively on the Gaon Digital Chart. With the success of "Magic" and "Madonna", the group received the "Newcomer Award" at the 25th Golden Disk Awards.
Kim Yu-bin, referred to as Yubin, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper and actress. Kim is a founder and CEO of the entertainment agency RRR Entertainment. She initially rose to fame as a member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls, formed in 2007 by JYP and active with the group until disbanded in 2017. The song's inspiration came from the producers who have felt they needed to showcase a darker side of Jieun, thus coming up with the idea of a stalking relationship. The song features BAP's Bang Yong-guk, who sings the rap parts of the song. The song's lyrics tells of a fallen relationship in which the protagonist couldn't stand the stalking of her obsessed ex-lover.
"Secret Love" is a song recorded by South Korean idol group B.A.P. It is released as a Digital single on March 3, 2012, through TS Entertainment. The song was released as a promotional single for their mini-album, Warrior EP. The song was written by Bang Yong Guk and Kang Jiwon; and features vocals from Song Jieun. The music video for "Secret Love" contained behind the scenes footage of B.A.P's "Warrior" and Bang&Zelo's "Never Give Up", and it served as a tribute video for their fans.

She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Apink. Jung made her acting debut in the coming-of-age drama, Reply 1997 in 2012. She has since had roles in That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), Trot Lovers (2014), Cheer Up! (2015), Untouchable (2017), Work Later, Drink Now (2021–2022) and Blind (2022) in addition to various voice acting roles. She released her debut solo album, Dream, in 2016.
