Secret Summer is the sixth and final extended play (promoted as fifth Korean-language EP) by South Korean girl group Secret. The album was released on August 11, 2014, and contains six tracks. [1] The album came in 2 versions, one pink and one blue. [2]

Release and promotion

The lead single, "I'm in Love", was released on August 11, 2014. The official music video was unveiled on the same day. The song was written and produced by Duble Sidekick, and marked a return to their sexy and powerful inspired songs such as "Magic", "Madonna", "Love Is Move" and "Poison".

Secret promoted "I'm in Love" as well as "U R Fired" and "Could Do Better" on music shows in August 2014 on KBS's Music Bank , MBC's Show! Music Core , SBS's Inkigayo and Mnet's M! Countdown . They also held a MelOn showcase on the day of album release. [4]

Secret (Korean: 시크릿) was a South Korean K-pop girl group formed by TS Entertainment in 2009. The group originally debuted with four members: Jun Hyo-seong, Jung Ha-na, Song Ji-eun and Han Sun-hwa. They released their debut single I Want You Back October 2009. Secret's debut single did not meet great success and it was not until the following year that the group saw a rise in popularity. In 2010, Secret released two singles Magic and Madonna which earned much attention with both singles peaking at No. 2 and No. 1 respectively on the Gaon Digital Chart. With the success of "Magic" and "Madonna", the group received the "Newcomer Award" at the 25th Golden Disk Awards.

Madonna is the second Korean extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Secret. It was released on August 12, 2010 through TS Entertainment, and contains five tracks. The EP debuted at No. 5 on the Gaon Album Chart, while the album's lead single "Madonna" debuted at No. 1 on the Gaon Singles Chart and sold over 1,839,869 digital copies in South Korea throughout 2010. Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum, the composers who wrote "Madonna" highlighted that the inspiration behind the song is about living with confidence by becoming an icon in this generation, like the American singer Madonna.

Jung Ha-na, better known by her former stage name Zinger and mononymously as Hana, is a former South Korean singer and television personality. She is best known for being a member of the South Korean girl group Secret.

Speed was a South Korean boy band formed by MBK Entertainment in 2012. The group was formerly Coed School's male unit until they became an independent group in 2013. In late 2015, MBK Entertainment removed their profile page from the official website and it was reported that the group was disbanded.

<i>25</i> (EP) 0000 EP by Song Ji-eun

25 is the debut extended play by South Korean singer Song Ji-eun, a member of South Korean girl group Secret. The EP was released on October 14, 2014 with the song "Pretty Age 25" serving as the lead track and "Don't Look At Me Like That" as a pre-release. The album contains five songs and was released in two versions.

"Blue" (Korean: 블루) is a song recorded by South Korean boy group BigBang for their fifth Korean-language extended play (EP), Alive (2012). It was made available for digital download and streaming as the EP's first single on February 22, 2012, by YG Entertainment. The song was written and composed by G-Dragon along with Teddy Park, with additional rap parts penned by T.O.P. Stylistically, the track conveys the emotions of feeling blue—akin to its title—after letting go of a romantic relationship, and showcases a more emotional and vulnerable side of BigBang while at the same time providing a comforting undertone.

Snowflake is the third extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group GFriend. It was released by Source Music on January 25, 2016 and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. The album contains five songs, including the single "Rough", and two instrumental tracks. The album debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and has sold more than 33,000 units. GFriend promoted the album with a series of televised live performances on South Korea's music shows, winning a total of 15 music show awards. "Rough" was also commercially successful, topping the Gaon Digital Chart and selling more than one million digital downloads. Musically, the album is similar in style to K-pop from the late 1990s and 2000s.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Good Luck (AOA song)</span> 2016 single by AOA

"Good Luck" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group AOA for their fourth extended play of the same name (2016). It was released as the title track from the EP by FNC Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment on May 16, 2016 in conjunction with the mini-album. The lyrics were written by Han Seong-ho, Jang Yeon-jeong and Innovators and the music was composed by Matthew Tishler, Aaron Benward and Felicia Barton. To promote the song and the EP, AOA performed "Good Luck" on several South Korean music programs, including Music Bank, Show! Music Core and Inkigayo. A music video for the title track was also released on May 16. The song was a commercial success peaking at number 2 on the Gaon Digital Chart. It has sold over 545,952 digital copies as of July 2016.
