Moulsey Hurst is in West Molesey, Surrey on the south bank of the River Thames above Molesey Lock. It is one of England's oldest sporting venues and was used in the 18th and 19th centuries for cricket, prizefighting and other sports. This area is now called Hurst Park; the area currently called Molesey Hurst is smaller, and some 500m to the south.

The Sports Ground, Woodbridge Road is a cricket ground in Guildford, Surrey. The ground was given to the town in trust in 1911 by Sir Harry Waechter, Bart. Guildford Cricket Club play their home matches on the ground. Surrey County Cricket Club usually play at least one County Championship match there each season, as well as some second XI and Surrey Stars fixtures. Until comparatively recently, hockey was played on the ground in winter. The ground was also used for football until at least 1921. It was the home ground of the amateur team Guildford F.C. who existed until 1953 and was also used as the venue for some Surrey Senior Cup finals.
The 1787 cricket season in England is noteworthy for the foundation of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) after the opening of Thomas Lord's first ground in the parish of Marylebone, north of London. MCC soon became the sport's governing body with the new ground as its feature venue. The first match known to have been played at Lord's was on Monday, 21 May, between the White Conduit Club and a Middlesex county team. The first match known to involve a team representing MCC was against White Conduit on Monday, 30 July. Including these two, reports and/or match scorecards have survived of numerous eleven-a-side matches played in 1787. Eleven are retrospectively, but unofficially, recognised as first-class.
East Molesey Cricket Club is a cricket club in Molesey, Surrey. It was established in 1871, although cricket has been played at the Moulsey Hurst since 1731. East Molesey's current ground, 'The Memorial Ground', has been the home for the Surrey club since the late 19th century and is situated just outside the town centre, sitting right on the bank of the River Thames. They currently compete in the Surrey Championship, the Club Cricket Conference Cup, the Bertie Joel Cup and the Thameside Sunday League.
Hampton Ferry is a seasonal foot ferry across the Thames in England. It is about 1 mile (1.6 km) upstream, west, of Hampton Court Bridge. The bridge links a busy zone of activity on both banks including Hampton Court Palace. The ferry links a large riverside park to the oldest parts of the town of Hampton, London, including its church, inn and various listed buildings such as Garrick House which is private apartments and Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare beside a narrow strip of sloped bank. This is known as Saint Albans Riverside, as it was owned by one of the Dukes of Saint Albans, seated at Hanworth House and Park, about two miles away. On the north side, this part of former Middlesex became outer-most London in 1965 by an Act of 1963. The towpath on the south side is for about 400 metres each way in public grassland with picnic places and beyond, for about 1 mile (1.6 km) shaded by trees, east and west.
The Officers Club Services Ground is a cricket ground in Fleet Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, England. Aldershot had been a small village until 1853, but was transformed following the purchase of 25,000 acres of land by the War Office for military training. Over the following two decades Aldershot was transformed into a garrison town, by 1874 a number of cricket grounds, including the Officers Club Services Ground, had been constructed for use by the various regiments garrisoned there.

E. Tredcroft's Ground was a cricket ground at the Warnham Court estate, located at Horsham, Sussex. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1851, when the Gentlemen of Sussex played the Gentlemen of Surrey. Edward Tredcroft, after whom the ground is named, was part of the Gentlemen of Sussex team. The first first-class match held at the ground came in 1853 when Sussex played the Marylebone Cricket Club. Sussex played two further first-class matches at the ground; in 1854 and 1855, with both matches coming against the Marylebone Cricket Club. The 1855 fixture was the final recorded match on the ground. A woodland was later planted inside the boundary of the ground.
The Recreation Ground is a cricket ground in Banstead, Surrey. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1955, when South Women Second XI played the Women's Cricket Association. It hosted its only first-class match in 1984, when Surrey played Cambridge University.
Reigate Priory Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Reigate, Surrey. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1853 when East Surrey played West Sussex. It hosted its first first-class match in 1909 when Surrey played Oxford University. The next first-class match came in 1924 when HDG Leveson-Gower's XI played the touring South Africans. HDG Leveson-Gower's XI returned to the Priory to play first-class matches in 1934, where they played 3 further matches from 1934 to 1936, playing their final first-class match there against Oxford University.
