Skyscraper tall building

A skyscraper is a continuously habitable high-rise building that has over 40 floors and is taller than approximately 150 m (492 ft). Historically, the term first referred to buildings with 10 to 20 floors in the 1880s. The definition shifted with advancing construction technology during the 20th century. Skyscrapers may host commercial offices or residential space, or both. For buildings above a height of 300 m (984 ft), the term "supertall" can be used, while skyscrapers reaching beyond 600 m (1,969 ft) are classified as "megatall".

Haifa Place in Israel

At 130 meters in height and at 30 floors [1] is the second tallest building in the city and the thirteenth tallest in Israel. Completed in 2003, [1] the IEC Tower was designed by Rozov-Hirsch Architects and Mansfeld Kehat Architects and is the tallest building in Israel to serve only one company, the Israel Electric Corporation who moved their headquarters here from Tel Aviv. It is also Haifa's tallest office building. The tower is located near the MATAM business park which is outside of the CBD of Haifa, and in terms of roof height is actually Haifa's tallest tower, overtaking the Sail Tower.

Israel Electric Corporation is the largest supplier of electrical power in Israel. The IEC builds, maintains, and operates power generation stations, sub-stations, as well as transmission and distribution networks.

The Galleria (Metairie, Louisiana)

The Galleria located at One Galleria Blvd in Metairie, Louisiana, is a 21-story, 269-foot (82 m)-tall skyscraper designed by architect HKS, Inc. The Galleria was completed in 1986 and is the second tallest building in Jefferson Parish. The tower's primary use is as office space. Six towers of roughly equal height were originally planned; this tower is the only one that was built.

Tel Aviv Towers

The Tel Aviv Towers are a complex of four skyscrapers in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel. Three buildings in the complex are complete. Towers 1 and 2 are each 107.75 meters in height, have 34 floors, and were built between 1998 and 2000. Each has 23,000 square metres of residential space and 225 apartments. The towers were designed by Riskin Architects. The original plan was to construct the four towers together.

Marganit Tower

The Marganit Tower is a skyscraper located in HaKirya, Tel Aviv, Israel. Completed in 1987, the building is 138 metres (453 ft) in height, although most of this is due to its "finger", a concrete mast with antennas and other transmission equipment. As such, it only has 17 floors. Now Israel's twelfth-tallest building, upon completion it was the country's second-tallest building. It was designed by ASSA Architects.

Park Tzameret

Park Tzameret is a residential neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel, on the east-central side of the city. It comprises eleven luxurious tall apartment buildings, with one more under construction as of 2018, surrounded by green space. The 133 dunams (13.3 ha) area has been modeled upon similar projects in London and Paris. Only 18% of the area will contain buildings. Two squares will be built at the southern and northern sides of the neighborhood with a 60-metre-wide (200 ft) avenue linking them. Mature trees and vegetation will be planted along the avenue. In total, 1,747 apartments will be built in the neighborhood with 6,000 square metres (65,000 sq ft) of commercial and public buildings. The east and west boundaries of the area will be delineated by 4.5-metre-high (15 ft) acoustic barriers.

Diamond Exchange District

Amnon Niv was an Israeli architect and urban designer. Niv was the chief architect for the Negev Nuclear Research Center and the City Engineer of Jerusalem. Together with Amnon Schwartz, he designed the Moshe Aviv Tower, which was the tallest building in Israel between 2001 and 2017.

When completed, it will become the tallest building in Australia by roof height, surpassing the Eureka Tower, and the second-tallest building in Australia by full height, surpassed by Q1. The World Class Land development project consists of a 317-metre-tall (1,040 ft) apartment building with 1,105 apartments over 100 floors. Construction of the revised Fender Katsalidis Architects–design by Brookfield Multiplex commenced in 2015, with completion expected in 2020.

Vista Tower (Chicago)

Vista Tower is a supertall skyscraper being built in Chicago, Illinois. The Chicago Plan Commission approved the building on November 19, 2015, in a meeting that also approved the One Grant Park development.

Bein Arim Tower is a planned 400 m (1,300 ft) high skyscraper to be build in the demarcated area of the Bursa on Menachem Begin Road in Tel Aviv. After its construction it will be the tallest building in Israel, followed by Tel Aviv's 238 meter high Azrieli Sarona Tower. The building is expected to be finished in 2023.
