Kwon Bo-ah, known professionally as BoA, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, producer and actress. One of the most successful and influential Korean entertainers, she has been dubbed the "Queen of K-pop."
Garrett Robin Hamler, known professionally as Sean Garrett, is an American songwriter and record producer. He is responsible for a series of chart-topping compositions, most notably Usher's "Yeah!" which ranks second on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade for 2000–2009, and other songs written by him which include Ciara's breakout track "Goodies", Teairra Marí's debut single "Make Her Feel Good", Mario's single "Break Up", Nicki Minaj's first single "Massive Attack", and The Pussycat Dolls' single "Buttons".
"Whine Up" is the debut single by American singer Kat DeLuna, released from her debut album, 9 Lives. The song features Elephant Man. It was believed that Puerto Rican rapper Ivy Queen was featured, but DeLuna herself provided the rap. The song earned DeLuna a Billboard Latin Music Award for "Latin Dance Club Play Track Of The Year." The title comes from the Caribbean English pronunciation of wind up meaning to move one's hips on the dance floor.
"Wall to Wall" is a song recorded by American singer Chris Brown for his second studio album, Exclusive (2007). The song was produced by Sean Garrett and Walter Scott. Selected as the album's lead single, "Wall to Wall" was first released to urban rhythmic radios on May 29, 2007. It received critical praise from contemporary music critics; many of them called the song a potential hit single and one of the album's best tracks. Even though the song failed to attain chart success on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 79, it did manage to appear on the 2007 compilation album Now That's What I Call Music! 26. It also peaked inside the top thirty in Australia and New Zealand while peaking in the lower end of the charts in European countries. The music video for "Wall to Wall" was inspired by Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and the 1998 film Blade. The remix of the song features American rapper Jadakiss, who also appears in the music video. The duo, along with Sean Garrett and Polow da Don, composed the song for Scherzinger's planned debut studio album Her Name Is Nicole. Interscope Records released "Whatever U Like" as Scherzinger's solo debut single on July 28, 2007.
