"Masayume Chasing" is the 37th Japanese single by South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer BoA. It was released on July 23, 2014, as one of the several singles for her eighth Japanese-language studio album, Who's Back? (2014) through Avex Trax. The CD single contains the B-side track "Fun", and was released in six physical editions: two CD+DVD editions, a CD-only edition, a CD-only Fairy Tail edition, and two limited USB editions only sold on BoA's official fan club shop.
Commercially, "Masayume Chasing" performed modestly in Japan, peaking at number 15 on the weekly Oricon Singles Chart and number 27 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. In South Korea, the song entered the Gaon international singles chart at number 54. The title track was used as the opening theme for part of season 7 of the anime Fairy Tail , which was broadcast from April 2014 until December 2015.
On June 10, 2014, BoA posted three single cover images to her social media accounts for her upcoming Japanese single, with the caption "Masayume Chasing coming on July 23". [1] The artwork of the single covers were noted for its summer vibe, accompanying the "cheerful" production of the song. [1] On June 16, she posted a video to her Instagram account showing her in the studio recording and preparing for the single's release. The physical release comes in six versions: two CD+DVD editions, a CD-only edition, a CD-only Fairy Tail edition, and two limited USB editions only sold on BoA's official fan club shop, SOUL shop. Both USB are 4GB of storage and the four songs included come in WAV format. Both CD+DVD editions come with an application postcard and the CD-only edition come with an entry ticket to obtain a special DVD with the video "Masayume Chasing ~Limited Making~". The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime Fairy Tail . [4]
Bradley Stern from MuuMuse wrote that the "pop princess has consistently supplied sparkling cuts in time for summer for well over a decade now — from 2002's 'Valenti' all the way up to last year's 'Tail Of Hope.' He added that "Masayume Chasing"'s "uptempo synth-pop gem is both a club banger and a super-saccharine J-pop smash ... complete with a surging chorus and some feisty chants." [5] Commercially, "Masayume Chasing" performed modestly, peaking at number 8 on the daily Oricon Singles Chart, and number 15 on its weekly counterpart. Kwon Bo-ah, known professionally as BoA, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, producer and actress. One of the most successful and influential Korean entertainers, she has been dubbed the "Queen of K-pop".
Girls on Top is the fifth Korean studio album by South Korean singer BoA, released on June 24, 2005, by her native label SM Entertainment. Under the repackaged title Moto, the album was re-released on August 25, 2005, to promote the titular track, while including a previous unreleased track, and later on March 26, 2008, in Japan as a special edition. It was, at the time, the singer's last release in her native country for over five years, until the release of Hurricane Venus in August 2010.
"Valenti" is a song by South Korean singer BoA, for her second Japanese studio album of the same name (2003). It was released by Avex Trax as her sixth Japanese single on August 28, 2002, and features "Realize " as a B-side. A Korean version of "Valenti" was further promoted off of her compilation album Miracle, which was made available on September 24 by SM Entertainment.
"Meri Kuri", known in South Korea as "Merry-Chri", is a song recorded in two languages by South Korean singer BoA. A holiday-themed ballad, its lyrics were written by Chinfa Kan and BoA; production was handled by Kazuhiro Hara. It was released on December 1, 2004, as her 14th Japanese single, via Avex Trax; and her 3rd physical Korean single, by SM Entertainment. Both versions are supported with the B-side tracks "Mega Step" and "The Christmas Song". Its music video premiered on her 18th birthday and was shot at the Chapel on the Water and Ochiai Station in Hokkaidō.
"The Love Bug", stylised as "the Love Bug", is a song recorded by Japanese hip-hop duo M-Flo for their third studio album, Astromantic (2004). It was written, arranged, and produced by Verbal and Taku Takahashi who compose the duo and features South Korean singer BoA as the accompanying vocalist. It was released on March 17, 2004, and was distributed by Rhythm Zone in two physical formats: a standard CD single and a limited edition vinyl. In its bass line, the song samples "Give Me Your Love" (1981) by American jazz vocalist Sylvia Striplin. Following its release, "The Love Bug" peaked at number eight on the Oricon Singles Chart and sold over 56,000 copies.
"No. 1" is a song recorded by South Korean recording artist BoA. It was released on April 12, 2002, for her second studio album of the same name (2002) through SM Entertainment. In Japan, the song was released as a double A-side CD single with the track "Kiseki" on September 19, 2002, via Avex Trax. The single, titled "Kiseki / No. 1", was included in her second Japanese studio album Valenti (2003). "No. 1" was written by Kim Young-ah, while production was handled by Sigurd Røsnes and Ahn Ik-soo.
"Mirotic" is a song by South Korean boy band TVXQ. It was released in South Korea via SM Entertainment as part of the group's eponymous fourth studio album on September 26, 2008. In Japan, it was released as a CD single titled "Jumon: Mirotic" through Rhythm Zone on October 15, 2008, where it served as one of the several lead singles for the group's fourth Japanese studio album Secret Code (2009). The Korean lyrics was written by Yoo Young-jin, with Japanese lyrics translated by Ryoji Sonoda, whilst music was handled by Yoo, Mikkel Sigvardt, Lucas Secon and Thomas Troelsen.
Girls' Generation is the self-titled debut Japanese album and third overall by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, released by Nayutawave Records and Universal Music Japan on June 1, 2011. A repackaged edition of the album, The Boys, was released on December 28, 2011.

Rainz was a South Korean boy band consisting of seven members who previously participated in Mnet's 2017 survival show Produce 101 Season 2. They debuted on October 12, 2017, with Sunshine. They officially disbanded after concluding their last group activities in Japan on October 28, 2018, and returned to their respective agencies.

"You & I" is a song recorded in Korean and Japanese by South Korean singer IU from her second Korean-language studio album Last Fantasy (2011). The Korean version was released on November 29, 2011 through LOEN Entertainment, and was written and produced by Kim Eana and Lee Min-soo, respectively. The song was a huge domestic success, achieving the top spot on the Gaon Digital Chart and went on to sell more 7,000,000 digital units by 2021. According to Gaon, "You & I" is the second best-selling single in South Korea since 2010, ranking only behind Busker Busker's "Cherry Blossom Ending" (2012).
Got the Beat is a South Korean supergroup and first sub-unit of project group Girls On Top. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2022, composed of the seven female artists who already debuted under the agency : soloist BoA, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation, Seulgi and Wendy from Red Velvet, and Karina and Winter from Aespa.
Forgive Me is the third extended play by South Korean singer BoA. It was released by SM Entertainment on November 22, 2022, and contains six tracks, including the lead single of the same name.
