The single cover depicts Keys similarly to the subject of Man Ray's 1924 painting Le Violon d'Ingres.

The Kanye West version includes an intro and two extra verses by Jamie Foxx, and excludes the original outro by Twista. Tracie Spencer provides background vocals on both versions, and plays the female answer in Foxx's last verse on the Kanye West version. The song marked Jamie Foxx's first single since 1994.
"Don't Knock My Love" is a hit song performed by R&B singer Wilson Pickett and written by Pickett with Brad Shapiro. Released in the spring of 1971 from the album of the same title, it spent a week at number-one on the Billboard Best Selling Soul Singles Chart and peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. The song, which was produced under a funk tempo was Pickett's last number-one single and one of his last hits for Atlantic Records.

The chart debuted as Hot R&B LP's in the issue dated January 30, 1965, in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. It then went through several name changes, being known as Soul LPs in the 1970s and Top Black Albums in the 1980s, before returning to the R&B identification in 1990 and affixing a hip hop designation in 1999 to reflect the latter's growing sales and relationship to R&B during the decade.
"Wonderful" is a song by American rapper Ja Rule. It was released on September 28, 2004 as the lead single from his 2004 album R.U.L.E. The song features American pop-R&B singers R. Kelly and Ashanti. It topped the UK Singles Chart, reached number five on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaked at number six in both Australia and New Zealand, and became a top-twenty hit in Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

George Johnson, one of the two Johnson brothers in the band, wrote the song after deciding to commit to a relationship with one woman, instead of dating several at a time. While George was recording a demo for the song, family friend Senora Sam came by and added some lyrics. Brothers Johnson producer and mentor Quincy Jones heard the song, liked it, and convinced George to sing lead on the finished track. Released from their debut album, Look Out for #1, it was a top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot Singles Charts, peaking at number three, and a number one song on the Billboard R&B Charts during the summer of 1976. The single was later certified gold by the RIAA.

"Funny How Time Slips Away" is a song written by Willie Nelson and first recorded by country singer Billy Walker. Walker's version peaked at number 23 on the Hot C&W Sides chart. The tune is slightly similar to "When Two Worlds Collide", which was written by Roger Miller and Bill Anderson.
