With lyrics in Swedish by Mona Gustafsson, as "Jag sjunger för dig", the song was recorded by Leif Bloms, releasing it as a 1991 single. [1] and by Helene & gänget, which the same year was released as a B-side for the single En enkel resa. [2]

The song was also recorded by Charlotte Nilsson in 1999 on her solo album Charlotte , [3] and by Barbados in the year 2000 on the album When the Summer is Gone . [4]

The Leif Bloms version failed to enter Svensktoppen on 4 May 1991. [5]

Starting with the 1981 album Håll dig kvar, the band's singer was Mona Gustafsson, who wrote the band's 1992 song "Dej ska jag älska all min tid" which won the 1992 Hänt song contest in Älvsjö. After the band was disbanded, Mona Gustafsson, Patrik Ahlm and René Saulesco founded another dansband, Mona G:s orkester.
