The Crișul Negru (Romanian), is a river in western Romania (Transylvania) and south-eastern Hungary. The river has its source in the western Apuseni Mountains. It flows through the towns Ștei and Beiuș in Romania. Crossing the border of Hungary the river, now called Fekete-Körös, joins the Fehér-Körös a few kilometres north from Gyula to form the Körös river. In Romania, its length is 164 km (102 mi) and its basin size is 3,820 km2 (1,470 sq mi). Part of the water from the river Crișul Repede is diverted towards the Crișul Negru by the Criș Collector Canal.
The Vișeu in northern Romania is a left tributary of the river Tisza. Its source is in the Rodna Mountains. It passes through the following villages, communes and cities: Borșa (city), Moisei (commune), Vișeu de Sus (city), Vișeu de Jos (commune), Leordina (commune), Petrova (commune), Bistra (village), Valea Vișeului (village). In Valea Vișeului village, the river flows into the Tisza. Its length is 82 km (51 mi). Its drainage basin covers an area of 1,581 km2 (610 sq mi).
The Abucea is a left tributary of the river Mureș in Romania. It discharges into the Mureș in Abucea. Its length is 15 km (9.3 mi) and its basin size is 23 km2 (8.9 sq mi).
The Păscoaia is a left tributary of the river Lotru in Romania. It flows into the Lotru in the village Păscoaia. Its length is 23 km (14 mi) and its basin size is 122 km2 (47 sq mi).
The Ghimbășel is a left tributary of the river Bârsa in Romania. Its source is in the northern part of the Bucegi Mountains. Originally it discharged directly into the Olt, but much of its flow has been diverted into the Bârsa, another tributary of the Olt, near Colonia Bod. Its length is 67 km (42 mi) and its basin size is 533 km2 (206 sq mi). The former lower course of the Ghimbășel, downstream of this diversion, still exists and is used for the discharge of local inflows. It flows into the Olt north of Bod. Its length is 6 km (3.7 mi) and its basin size is 8 km2 (3.1 sq mi).
The Șușița is a right tributary of the river Jiu in Romania. It discharges into the Jiu near the city Târgu Jiu. Its length is 37 km (23 mi) and its basin size is 234 km2 (90 sq mi).
The Valea Nouă is a right tributary of the river Teuz in Romania. It flows into the Teuz north of Bârsa. Its length is 12 km (7.5 mi) and its basin size is 23 km2 (8.9 sq mi).
The Putna is a right tributary of the river Bistricioara in Romania. Upstream from its confluence with the Putna Întunecoasă in the village of Hagota, it is also called Putna Noroioasă. It discharges into the Bistricioara in Tulgheș. Its length is 23 km (14 mi) and its basin size is 175 km2 (68 sq mi).
The Gropoi is a right tributary of the river Teuz in Romania. It flows into the Teuz near Cărand. Its length is 10 km (6.2 mi) and its basin size is 18 km2 (6.9 sq mi).
The Groșeni or Valea Groșilor is a right tributary of the river Teuz in Romania. It flows into the Teuz south of Beliu. Its length is 20 km (12 mi) and its basin size is 62 km2 (24 sq mi).
The Sartiș is a right tributary of the river Beliu in Romania. Formerly a right tributary of the Teuz, its flow was intercepted by the canalized lower course of the Beliu near Cermei in 1914–1919. The construction of the canalized lower course of the Beliu in 1914-19 disconnected it from its upper course, which now discharges into the Beliu near Berechiu.
