The Canadian Hockey League is an umbrella organization that represents the three Canada-based major junior ice hockey leagues. The CHL was founded in 1975 as the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League, and is composed of its three member leagues, the Western Hockey League (WHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). For the 2023–24 season, its three leagues and 60 teams represent nine Canadian provinces as well as four American states.
Justin Pogge is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2008–09 season. Internationally Pogge played for the Canadian national junior team at the 2006 World Junior Championship, winning a gold medal.

Cameron Kenneth Ward is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played the majority of his 15-year professional career for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played his final season for the Chicago Blackhawks before retiring in 2019.
Trevor Rodney Kidd is a Canadian former Ice hockey goaltender who last played for the Hannover Scorpions in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Throughout his 12-year National Hockey League career, Kidd played for the Calgary Flames, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, and Toronto Maple Leafs. A first-round draft pick, Kidd was selected 11th overall by the Flames in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
Jeff Glass is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who last played for the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL). Glass was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 3rd round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He joined their minor league affiliate and played several years with the organization before leaving as a free agent to join Barys Astana in 2009. He made his long-awaited NHL debut in the 2017–18 season with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Martin Jones is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. He previously played for the Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Seattle Kraken. A standout goaltender in junior with the Calgary Hitmen, Jones was named the Western Hockey League's goaltender of the year in 2009–10 and won a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
Calvin Pickard is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Jake Allen is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round, 34th overall, by the St. Louis Blues in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019. Allen has also previously played for the Montreal Canadiens.
Brendan Gallagher is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger and alternate captain for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fifth round, 147th overall, by the Canadiens in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Darcy Kuemper is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round, 161st overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, and has also played in the NHL with the Arizona Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, and Washington Capitals. Kuemper won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022.
Tyson Sexsmith is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Sexsmith was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 3rd round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. During his major junior career with the Vancouver Giants, Sexsmith has won a President's Cup as Western Hockey League (WHL) champions in 2005–06 and a Memorial Cup in 2007. He is tied for the WHL's all-time shutout record holder with 26 in his four-year career, tied with Carter Hart.
The CHL Import Draft is an annual event in which every team in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) may select the rights to eligible import players. An import is classified as a player who does not have residency status in either Canada or the United States. The draft is conducted online, during the last week of June, or first week of July, following the NHL Entry Draft. Teams from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, systematically take turns making selections. Teams can have a maximum of two imports which may only be obtained through the draft. The draft is open to all position players, but a ban on drafting European goalkeepers was in effect from 2014 to 2017. As of the 2022 draft, 2,026 players have been selected, with many later going onto the National Hockey League.
Chris Driedger is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Driedger was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Carter John Hart is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who is an unrestricted free agent. He previously played for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Conor Timmins is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Colorado Avalanche, 32nd overall, in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
Kale Clague is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round, 51st overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2016 NHL entry draft. Clague has also previously played for the Montreal Canadiens.
Brandon Hagel is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). After making his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks on March 11, 2020, the NHL season was postponed due to COVID-19.
Kaiden Guhle is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the first round, 16th overall, by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL entry draft.
Dustin Wolf is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL entry draft, 214th overall, by the Flames.
